บท 53: Beast Tide

This was the first time that Theta Mariyah experienced the beast tide, but she had heard about them from Zarno and Ruka – especially Ruka. She did not worry about those two. Even when Third Prince Zen Lykus also entered her mind, Theta did not also worry much about him.

For her, those three could even stop a beast tide if they wanted to.

Her concern lies with the non-mage people of Axue Mariyah. She did not need to worry about Axue Mariyah, she knew that the Lykus Empire's monarchy would hold the leader of the envoy accountable should she die in this beast tide.

Gripping Sena's hand, Theta pulled Sena from her trembling stupor. She screamed at her face for the neighing noise of the horses could almost pierce their ears. 

"Get a grip, Sena! Lead me to the others!" The way she was pulling Sena was the exact direction where the carriage of Axue Mariyah was located.
