"Me and my boastful mouth… Why did I say something so outrageous?!" Violet blamed herself. She confidently left the mansion while saying she would find the cure, but right now she didn't even know where to start.

But it was too late for any regrets. Her ice will melt after a few days, she will have to be back before Noah's condition worsens.

"Missus, you sure you wanted to come here? There are just some abandoned mines here, the mountain is not amiable to people around here…" The coachman asked her again. She fetched the ride in the middle of the city and asked him to take her to the closest mountain.

"There are no people living there? What about villages?" Violet was interested. No matter how hostile the area was, there was always a settlement or two.
