60% You Give Me A Fireflies / Chapter 6: LOSE

บท 6: LOSE

Raindrops can still see wet the street outside, feeling eternal and durable, harvesting dew from the window.

A young man as white as snow was seen standing in front of a large window. The nighttime scene of the metropolis is covered with a bit of dew that makes everything seem blurry. Long fingers extend to touch cold glass surfaces. The temperature in the room is much lower because of the low-temperature effects of water conditioning. It was not done without reason to cool off the heat that had just occurred a moment ago.

"What are you looking at?"A pair of hands came over the young man's white skin, uncovered by a single hook. No, not just the young man, but they were both naked.

Simon —the young man shirtless— did not answer Caroll —the woman who hugged him from behind— she kept staring out of the window with no care that Caroline's hand played a red bulb on both of Simon's chest.

"Does your fiancé know what you're like?"

Simon's question was suddenly struck with a success that Caroline took off her arms. She looked at Simon's back strangely before slumping back onto the messy bed.

"Well, since I haven't told him in person, I guess he doesn't know yet," Caroline answered casually, picking up her clothes on the floor. Not to be put back on but instead set in a basket next to a workbench. Where's the Caroll herself would still enjoy being naked when making up his bed, changing the old sheets (with some residue from which they made love) of the new, pure white and smelling lavender.

Meanwhile, Simon remained stunned to look out without shivering in the cold. He's like an exhibitionist because he's naked in front of a window, where someone out there can see him naked right now. However, that would be pretty impossible considering that this apartment room was high on the floor. Even if the glass appears transparent, only people inside the building can see the view from the outside, whereas outsiders cannot see the inside of the building.

"Do you want to shower together again?" Caroll asked. Apparently, she's finished cleaning up after their little 'game.' Instead, the woman was already wearing her pajamas, heading to the bathroom.

There's yet to be an answer from Simon. He had been lost in his mind, drowning in every speck of raindrop drizzling. Long, curled palms move to safety and left, eliminating dew trails that form as a result of a drop in temperature. That way, the view out there seems clear again. The lights of the buildings and streets down there dominate, defeating the darkness beyond the sun's setting.

Gradually, palms that had previously dried were wet from wiping thin dew, accumulating on the skin's surface into plumes of water. It is even more intense when a thin fluid combines with cold air as it enters its pores. Simon tried to remove the water from his hands and on his own body, which made him shiver even more. He had returned to his senses when felt his body need another object to repel the cold.

Simon then picked up his previously placed clothes in the basket of another dirty garment. Take one at a time without forgetting one thing. From undergarments to socks, everything was perfectly glued to a pretty figure. Until it was too late.

The metallic black ring was usually stuck in the right hand's index finger, now out of place. Disappear, vanish, lost, or anything that describes the absence of the item. Simon's face had grown almost expressionless and now gave way to panic, with the lines of his face stretched out and his frowning forehead. He was trying to find out where it might have fallen. Starting in this rather large room, where they made love and took off their clothes, it made sense to fall by accident and roll under the bed.

Underneath? Over there.

So Simon's job was to crawl under the covers, his right hand in the phone, where the flashlight's light could shine in the dark.

Unfortunately, it's empty.

There he found nothing but the clothes on his body to get dirty from the dust, some even sticking to his skin that was still sticky. Traces of activity in the past create a heat sensation that gives rise to kernels of sweat and then becomes sticky.

"Cough!" Simon was coming out of the basement, coughing. He searches for nothing this time and needs to take a quick shower because he's getting dirty. But he couldn't waste time, couldn't calm down before the black ring with the corrugated texture had yet been found.

'Where else?'

Simon went from the room barefoot across the hall to the living room, where he sat first. Who knows, subconsciously, the ring slipped off while he was strutting the hall while touching some paraphrases. Although the chances were minimal, Simon knew that the crew had a firm grip on the ring's knuckles. A powerful pull was required to remove the ring.

Or a lube.

"What are you looking for?"

A woman's voice came from the door. The smell of lavender mixed with mint covered the wet-looking Caroll's body, especially in the hair. Pulling out half the body at the door with a half-opening opening, looking at the young man busy walking through the entire room while picking up some items. Uplift the sofa, remove the mat, and open part of the carpet.

"I know you're missing something, but don't make a mess of people's houses too." Carroll walked over. Just sprucing up the room is Simon's mess.

"Didn't you not nag when your fiancé left the room a mess as well?"

"Hey, that's another story." Caroll replaces the glass table in the middle of the carpet after putting the maroon's red carpet back into position. She then sat down, drying her wet hair, letting the pale white boy sweep the room with his eyes wide open. "Tell me, what did you lose? I'll change it.." Even though they were drifting quite far away, Carroll wasn't much to indulge Simon. Only she was better off groping her own money than letting her living room end up like a broken ship.

"It's not something that can be replaced," says Simon turning his body to the right and left to relax tense muscles before returning to his activity.

"You make me wonder.."

Simon glanced from behind his back, looking at the woman covered by the bathrobe sitting on the sofa. "You've seen the thing,"

The Caroll furrowed his thin brow, making it seem to blend together. "The black ring?"

Simon didn't answer, but his head seemed to nod slightly. Still trying to find the object.

"Oh my God! I think you lost the car keys, if that's all I can buy you as much as you want."

Simon just stopped looking. He straightened up and turned, facing Caroline. "I told you, it won't be replaced by others."

"Why? It's just a ring," Caroline realized something else. "Ah, cause that's your seventeen birthday present from me? Well, when did you become such a caring person?"

"You.. Forget what— Never mind, I'll looking for to the elsewhere." Simon stormed out of the apartment. Doesn't mind Caroll's voice back there calling his name.
