"So, what is your plan now? Three days had passed since Ella called you; I told you she is different; she doesn't want your money, buddy; why didn't you try to court her instead of offering her cold cash?" Kent asked while we were at the Carzavilla Country Club, playing golf.
"Why should I court her knowing she is hungry for money?" I asked, and I saw my cousin shake his head.
"You can feel it in your heart, Archer, you are only hurting, and that is why until now, you wanted to teach her a lesson even if you wanted to do the opposite." He insisted, and I laughed.
"Nope, you are wrong, Kent; I will never let Mariela play with my heart again," I responded.
