The rest of their journey to the studio ended in silence.

When she looked up again, Song Xing Xing realized that they have already arrived at the studio. Lu Xun had parked his vehicle at the side door again to let her enter the studio without being noticed.

Initially, she wanted to tell him to drop her a few blocks away but her mind was somewhere else.

"I will come over and pick you up after work, alright?"

Hearing his voice, Song Xing Xing quickly turned around and shook her head. "You don't have to pick me up after work."

His eyes turned a little darker. "Why not?"

The thought that this girl had changed her mind so quickly had made him upset. She had agreed to give him a chance. But what if she had changed her mind and thought that he was not worth it?
