บท 26: Acting the Attentive Fiance

She just nodded. Feeling self-conscious, she tried to pull it back, but Jacob's grip tightened. Without hesitation, she looked up to him. She was still a bit surprised when he gave her that sweet grin that she had never seen before.

"No need to be so tense. It's not good for the baby ..."

Both of them did not notice Mrs. Medici's happy smile as they exchanged glances. She forced herself to relax and addressed the newcomer.

"Are you alone, auntie?"
