All of Isaac's hits slammed straight into Kristine, making her lose her balance and fall back off and right on Isaac.

Her back came hurtling down at the perfect spot for Isaac to break her fall and hold her up.

But alas, the young man had neither the intention nor the time to get her in a princess hold.

'These hands are only for Lady Kristine.'

He flipped back and jumped away from the falling pursuant who fell on the ground and yelped.

"Damn it!" Kristine screamed and jumped straight back to her feet.

Isaac was slightly stunned by the person's resilience to get back up the moment they fell, but didn't let it hold him back. He wanted to use a spell to restrain the person. To keep a strong person down though required an equally strong spell. It was the same as tying a rat down with a pebble and tying a wolf with another.
