A smile stretched on Isaac's lips as he watched the octopus vessel struggle with its tricks. No matter how much power it tried to emit, it was all useless in front of Isaac.
"W-what in the world is happening…" Kristine took a step back almost unknowingly.
She had thought that Isaac would have a safety key, maybe a way to activate teleport back to this place.
"It's just a test for now," muttered Isaac. The corners of his lips were pulled up by half a centimeter on both sides and his eyes had narrowed fractionally. He had never been this satisfied. "These gods and their divinity, I use artifices to counter it."
A way to counter the vessels of gods. That was the challenge the millennium mage had taken upon himself.
Desire?
Zeal?

Whether it be for the person he loved or for that dearest friend he once lost. There was only one thing Isaac believed in.
