Hitting a bear in its plexus and sending it flying away as nothing more than a chunk of furry meat, driving an uppercut into to jaw of another whilst crushing another's with his mace.
The silver knight tried making his way toward the spawners, they didn't spawn bears that often but the constant harassment he was enduring from the wretch prevented him from truly focusing on them.
The little monster was devilishly fast, using the bears as cover for his movements, throwing in spawners on the bring of imploding at the knight or sometime even going up close, uselessly shattering his claws against the robust armor.
Shards of dark claws littered the ground alongside the corpses of many goblins and wretches, thankfully, the bodies of the spawned creatures didn't remain, melting into the ground after a few minutes.
Although it seemed like the wretch could make them stay longer if he so desired, leaving a few of them around as cover just in case the knight managed to get rid of all the living bears without any other replacing them.
Sucking blood from the corpses and spitting it at the knight, trying to blind him but it was also useless, the silver mana he had infused himself forming a brittle barrier, which was much more than enough to repel such weak attacks.
Breaking the neck of another bear after catching it into a choke hold with a single arm, the knight didn't feel like Axio's apparent powerlessness mattered much.
He was darting around like a cockroach and appeared as unreasonably evasive and resistant as one, he had once managed to clear up the bears and the master of the spawners had come himself to keep him from destroying the strange spheres.
Dodging every single blow while barely moving from his position, twisting his body as he wished and that at the same incredible speed as he darted from one spot to another.
The silver knight was feeling more and more uncomfortable, a wretch holding up against him was already something he wouldn't have expected in a century but he possessed bizarre abilities that didn't seem to use any sort of energy.
'And this speed...' this was what was bothering him the most, monsters with intense stats specialisation weren't common, even liches, although said to be mostly pure casters, would be physically strong thanks to the death force coursing through them and their magical capabilities.
The wretch was nothing but speed and evasion, there was not an ounce of monstruous strength in its whole body, he would be able to overpower a small child at most, even your regular, hungry peasant would be able to rival him in brute strength.
Neither did he have any magical or any energy related masteries either...
'Hell, it looks like he wouldn't be able to use any even he had all the knowledge for it!' the silver knight wasn't facing a simple anomaly.
Taking this into account, this meant that he wasn't the one responsible for the domain that had covered the city, the silver knight could feel the domain intensely resisting from being purged by his silver mana.
But it definitely didn't look like the wretch had any focus put onto this.
Punching a bear's heart straight out of its chest, the lump of the organ flying right past Axiolypito head.
The knight was aware that more spawners had been planted all around, mostly of bears but a new addition appeared as well, some falcons had also began showing up, flying high and using their deadly momentum to literally kill themselves on him, using themselves as projectiles.
For a small bird of prey, he had to admit they packed quite the punch and they were coming in numbers, trying to push him at the perfect times to leave him open for a bear to attack.
It would make him run out of juice faster but the knight remedied the situation by simply pouring more mana to make himself even stronger, ignoring the suicidal falcons as if they were nothing more than flies as he focused on the wretch, ignoring his aching body.
He was taken aback for a few moments, the wretch didn't seem in very good shape either, it seemed like using his abilities so much did end up putting a strain on him, not that it mattered.
Despite having rivers of blood pouring from his eyes, nose and ears, the wretch seemed more delighted than ever, smiling as if it was his birthday.
"Getting tired already? I noticed you started staggering a bit more lately..." remarked the minister, a good chunk of blood flowing out of his mouth as he spoke, revealing the horrendous amount of spawners he had just created.
Throwing it in the air as if it was confetti, the Wretched Lord laughed hysterically, the spawners expanded while in the air, releasing their content in a flood after being forced to not spawn anything for a while.
Whether or not what happened next was part of the monster's plan was dubious, but the animals contained within all spawned silmutaneously, most inside of one another, resulting in a dense rain of blood and organs.
The silver knight readied himself, still fighting off the bears attacking him as the shower of gore clouded his vision, he still managed to strike the bears down but he was unable to feel the most dangerous thing around coming.
Wrapping his legs around the knights neck, Axiolypito shoved his fingers covered his needle claws right through the eye slits of the man's great helm.
Stylistically moving away by taking support on his head, the wretch showed off his trophies to no one but himself, as both of the knight's eyeball were stuck on his claws.
He grinned like a shit-eating brat, laughing in his horrible voice as the knight fell to his knees, the sudden blow making him lose control of his mana and rendering him vulnerable to the wretch's summoned creatures.
"Bear witness! Kings and Gods!" he spouted nonsense as he twisted his whole body in his mad laughter, before suddenly stopping and regaining his composure, as if someone had just flicked a switch on.
Looking down on the dying knight and stepping on his head.
"What... The hell are you?" asked the man with his dying breath, only getting a slight taste of the mountain of sass the monster had to offer.
"Wouldn't you like to know, silver boy?" he spat on him, letting him be finished off as the wretch rubbed of the blood over his face.
"Didn't you say something about someone else?" he suddenly said to the corpse, right as someone landed right behind him.
Slightly turning his head to see the newcomer, the wretch made a displeased expression.
"I know it looks bad, but-" he tried spouting shit again but there was no conversation to be had with the figure that looked almost exactly like the silver knight, if only somehow even taller, although Axio wasn't the best to compare height from his low point of view.
If the knight from before was a professional, it seriously begged the question what the hell was supposed to be this one.
"A fucking hack is what he is" the wretch nodded to these words before wondering who the hell had just spoken.
The crystal seemed as hot as ever and cracking sounds were coming from it.
