Sir Solitar didn't have the luxury to think more deeply on his sudden idea as he noticed that single eye had yet to disappear like the rest.
'Again?' he first assumed that O'fiel was going to get ressurected again, but instead of that the eye began rising in the air as a single, thin tendril of white flesh supported it.
The eye was the very same as before, however, the look it currently bore was completely alien to Solitar, like he wasn't staring at the eye of something that truly existed.
He instinctively moved back, uncertain what was happening nor of how dangerous it could truly be.
The eye narrowed at him and... Smiled.
Well, it wasn't smiling as in, with a mouth, although it almost felt that way but it definitely seemed to be belonging on the face of someone absolutely laughing themselves to death.
Solitar couldn't even question this event before the eye vanished like like the rest.
'This wasn't even remotely O'fiel there...' the true identity of the thing that had just stared him in the eyes was obvious.
_______________
"Axiolypitooooo!" Axio was disturbed whilst he was running back to his castle, making him come to a halt in between two rocky moutains.
"You again?" he responded, genuinely surprised that Dramentia would show up a second in so little time, he felt like something was up with the dragon.
"Yes, yes, me! I have information of the highest caliber for you, in exchange of a little promise..." now this simply sounded terrible, no one would ever want to make any sorts of deal with such an abomination.
Everyone except Axiolypito apparently.
"That's more to my advantage anyways, so sure" he simply responded after hearing Dramentia's offer.
Without another word, the mad presence disappeared once more, Axio shrugged and went on his way again, actually quite pleased by this development.
'That's one down for certain already...' he thought with slight smile.
Breathing out a bit, he ran through multiple varying sceneries, quite enjoying being able to run at full speed in such open spaces again.
The water wasn't quite as bad as he would have originally thought but it had nothing on being on land.
In water, some might say that making weird turns and movements was simpler, they weren't wrong, but Axiolypito still disagreed, he could make all of this on land and even in the air, changing direction on a whim or at the very last second was like second nature to him at this point.
To think that there was point where his senses couldn't follow along his swiftness was hard to believe.
Back then, even a lowly thing like that Morly guard guy had come close to slaying him, it was such a puny human that had left the marks on his face after all, the scar that formed a constant smile on his grey face.
It made him laugh to remember such old times but suddenly, a certain memory made him stop dead in his track and scratch his head in wonder.
'I never dealt with that little girl, did I?' he had completely forgotten about the little blonde, due to the fact that it should be meaningless in the grand scheme of things.
But caught up in the reminiscing, he wondered what had become of her, he was certain that he hadn't inflicted any lethal injury on her at all, just suffocated her a little bit.
It reminded him that he had been alive for longer than he realised, everything had gone by in a flash, but with how long it had been, that little kid was probably a grown woman by now or close at least.
'She's most likely taller than me now' he thought with a scowl, the idea that the little sorry thing even his pitifully weak hands could overpower being bigger and stronger than him was a little offputting.
He sometime forgot that not everything was like him, that they were mostly stuck looking the exact same until they died, humans went from mushy sacks of flesh that could only poop and cry to seemingly whatever.
They had seemingly unlimited options to grow into, if they didn't die young, they would most likely like to sixty years old, if not older, even if they never bothered to seek out experience or strengthen themselves.
The silver knights, King Roderman, Sir Solitar, the Lost Hunter, the Abyss Eater and even the Old Hadal King, they had all been little, weak and meaningless babies at some point, one look at what they had become was enough to be inspiring.
For wretches, it seemed like a fantasy, to be able to live so long and become even midly powerful.
However, what went through Axiolypito's mind wasn't the comparison between wretches and humans, two existences tightly tied together- No, he had another thought entirely.
Despite his recent ascension and good manners toward his adversaries, his ego hadn't decreased in the least, he had just learned to tone it down, a true monarch needed to look humble.
So of course, his thought was relating to his person and also that little blondie, whose name he had no clue about, he barely even remembered her face, just her hair and eyes, which stood out immensely.
'What if she's after me?' his ego made him believe that since he had tried to kill her failed, she would definitely be feeling vengeful.
He didn't even factor in the fact that he had slaughered her parents and feasted in their vacated vessels, he just imagined that his great self was certain to have gained much more enemies that he originally thought.
Who was to say that amongst all of the people he had killed or was responsible or the deaths of, that at least not a few of their relatives or friends hadn't gone on a crusade to purge him?
Lost in his own little world where every single of his actions arose great winds and consequences, where everyone would either adore or despise him to the core, he suddenly stopped as his rationality came back from its pause.
'No one knows who I am anyways and even if I am no longer just a wretch, I was one back then, no one would actually bother trying to chase after a monster that his doomed to an early death'
It was fairly sound, Axio shook his head and sped away without any other thoughts on the matter.
