บท 18: Mother Moon

Riding on his custom motorcycle, Armsmaster is out on patrol of the streets. Not that he really needs to these days, there are the robots of Horror Master all around the city. There is also the monsters and people who are the minions of Horror Master, who also are around the city.
In an alleyway Armsmaster spotted a gang of goblins picking through dumpsters and trash cans, looking for things that they could use. The goblins search for useful junk and things that people just throw away, where they would reuse them or break them for parts. The goblins are loading the stuff onto a truck which use to belong to one of the gang members of the Merchants from the license plate number.
A ogre is walking with two Japanese ogres a red and a blue one. A Freddy Fazbear's Mega PizzaPlex, delivery truck passes by being driven by a demon, followed by a truck pulling two dump trailers full of scrap metal from the docks. The docks are now where the ships that use to block the harbor are being broken down for scrap metal. A car drives by loaded with teenager monsters.
It's a common sight around the city now.
The creatures and people from just about every horror fiction there is could be found around Brockton Bay. Trolls are now under every single bridge, from simple footbridges to the subspention bridges that cross over rivers. The waterways and the bay full of monsters, with the sewers are also crawling with all kinds of monsters. Flying above the city are harpies and other flying creatures. The forest and parks have treants, ents, dryads, and other plant creatures, even some of the tree monsters have creatures like Kapre the Filipino mythical creature that lives in tree and smokes in their branches.
The monsters haven't been attacking and killing people, not the ones who aren't criminals anyways. Armsmaster had to deal with the latest victim of the Batibat. She's a fat, old hag and her preferred way of dispatching her victims is by sitting on their chest while they sleep. The victim was a wife beater who are the ones that the monsters have been hunting down. Horror Master is allowing her minions to have their fun but only on the criminals and people who deserve it.
There is little that the PRT can do to stop what's happening. Thanks to the fact many of the monsters can just appear out from under a bed or from the shadows. It could be a whole lot worst as Horror Master is the reason why her minions are limiting themselves in who they go after.
Armsmaster doesn't want to even think about how it would be like if there were still zombies and other feral monsters around. He himself had used liquid nitrogen to freeze the Blob when it appeared on the streets searching for Shadow Stalker that first day. That monster along with many others alone could destroy the world if left uncheck. Horror Master got rid of all them so that there be no rampage or plague that can end the world happening. Not that she couldn't unleash a plague of monsters anytime she wants, the night of the rats is still fresh on everyone's minds.
The city is a lot more peaceful now, even with all the monsters around. The villains and gangs outside of the city are all staying clear as non of them want to earn the wrath of Horror Master. The Outsiders, Uber and Leet, and Coil are the only villains of worth left in the city, and all of them are laying low. With Uber and Leet still online and broadcasting their show where they list off all the different characters from horror fiction.
Armsmaster spotted Kiki flying on her broomstick making a delivery. Wondering why she's listed as horror, but then remembers the reason why. Because of how many people of religion view any kind of witchcraft to be the work of the devil. (1)
The entire city has changed all the old rules are gone, with new rules to follow. Namely Horror Master is the boss of the city and the top villain of the East coast, with her minions freely moving around the city. He spots one of the Claw Pirates, who are all crustaceans monsters who have taken over the black market that the old gangs use to run. Lead by the four-armed crab monster, known as Captain Hardshell and his right claw monster the one with large, monstrous lobster claws, known as Lobster Mobster, and a diminutive shrimp monster known as Da Shrimp. The Claw Pirate he spotted is a crab girl who is a centaur like monster, a giant crab body and where the face should be is the upper torso of a human woman.
Everyone is one edge, with how powerful Horror Master is, summoning Cthulhu just so it could eat Leviathan. No one wants to find out what else she's able to do and what would happen if something were to happen to her and nothing holding her minions back. Everyone is scared of what she's planning.

Castle of the Two Sisters -
"I have no idea what to do," Horror Master said using her Alicorn body for some down time.
Horror Master is laying on her bed in the bedroom her 'mom' Nightmare Moon setup for her. She's under so much pressure in being the boss of so many people, many are monsters who only are controlling themselves because of her control over them. Otherwise they be rampaging through the city, doing what they want.
She had to desummon so many of the horror monsters due to the fact of how dangerous they are. Then get rid of the ones who couldn't be trusted not to go against her commands, namely not go around feeding on the people of the city, especially when she already provided what they need to survive. Like with the vampires who even with her providing them with blood, still went around feeding on people. She has allowed her minions to go around feeding but only those who actually deserves it and not the innocent.
The problem was that some of them didn't understand this, nor did they care about the rules. They were monsters, after all, and as such were meant to kill and feed on the weak. It was their nature to do so. But if they weren't going to follow orders then they'd just end up getting sent back into the nothingness, where they came from.
"Well, I can think of one thing you could do," Nightmare Moon chimes in who has been sitting on the bed next to Taylor."You could just give them a good spanking."
Taylor blushes at hearing this and turns away from Nightmare Moon.
Moon chuckles and shakes her head.
"I jest. Don't let it bother ya. I was making a joke," she says and then sighs. "But seriously, if your problem is with them not listening to you or following orders, that's an easy fix. You just have to put them under your direct control, make them listen to you and follow your commands."
"I can't do that. I don't want to control them like that. I been spending all my time in making sure you and everyone else are ok in living in this world. That I have no idea what to do afterwards? I am honestly lost on how I should proceed here," Taylor admitted.
"Just tell them that. Tell 'em you're the boss now and they better start treating you like it," Nightmare Moon says and shrugs.
"I'm still not even an adult and now I'm leading a huge faction made out of horror characters even the ones that are kid friendly like you. Which I still can't understand how that's possible," Taylor said.
"I'm going because I'm a dream demon and my world is full of monsters," Nightmare Moon said.
"I'm just glad I made that wish to force everyone to actually understand the concept of morels and anything that prevented them from understanding gone, to have a conscience. I don't need someone who doesn't see anything wrong in using babies as shoes," Taylor said.
Nightmare Moon chuckles.
"That's a good point, but we also got some pretty messed up horror characters too. Hell, there were some horror character who were legitimately evil and wanted to use you for their own purposes," Nightmare Moon said.
"At least I'm no longer having any mental issues. But I'm still wondering how much is that me and what all the influence from so many beings of horror that drive people insane by their sheer presence alone," Taylor said.
"It's you, your soul essence is a mix of all these horror beings' essences and you've grown into it, so to speak. So yeah, you're gonna have to deal with all this mess," Nightmare Moon says.
"So basically I'm turning to the dark side thanks to all the horror around me," Taylor ask.
"Yes, like how someone who grew up slaughtering farm animals for a living, is use to it compared to someone who isn' when you come across someone who doesn't like killing for food, they'll be very surprised, confused, and even offended because they were raised to believe that's normal," Nightmare Moon explained.
"And that's what I'm dealing with," Taylor sighed.
"You changed from what you were before and no longer the girl that will let others walk over you. The ones who use to pick on you are now begging for death. And you got rid of one of the endbringers already, showing that you're more important to keep from going full supervillain. Not to mention how everyone is working to gain your favor. The ones who are still working on their bodies are now remaking them so that they won't be having bimbo bodies," Nightmare Moon said.
"Good, I don't want to have nothing but huge breasted and wide hip bodies that all look like they belong in a hentai. I know some can't help it, like this body being made from your genes. At least while you do have breasts the side of my torso, at least you're over 8 feet tall to justify it. With me growing into them and be just as tall. And then there's the outfits that many want me to wear with the body they made. Mostly all stripperific attire like having enough cloth to make three hand towels, the dark elf body outfit increased the amount of fabric I would be wearing by at least two orders of magnitude by having on a cloak to it. As for the vampire body, I put the vampire queen Marceline in a prison with spilling rice all around her that gets suck up after it hits bottom and making it impossible for her to count them all," Taylor said.
"I thought you gotten rid of all of those compulsions from vampires," Nightmare Moon said.
"I kept them and others with compulsions to do something, I can turn them on and off. I mostly have the vampires all unable to enter without being invited, thanks to Marceline inviting herself in my room to seduce me into having sex with her and even tried to throw in her girlfriend Bubblegum in to have a threesome. So now all the vampires are unable to enter a building without being invited first and can be kept out when the owner says they can't enter or simply be told to leave and they have to leave," Taylor said.
"But then what happens if you invite a vampire in? Are you going to be able to keep them out?" Nightmare Moon asked.
Taylor shrugs.
"As long as I don't mind them entering and staying in the house, I can just have them leave whenever I want," she said and lay back down on the bed. "That still leaves me with the problem of what to do next?"
"You still have your plate full with getting everyone settle down and keeping order. What do you have in mind so far?" Nightmare Moon ask.
"Kill the last two endbringers and take care of Scion. You and Celestia working together are the few that Bill said can take him on. I'm planning on just unleashing a bunch of Lovecraft horrors, Bill and Aku to take care of him. Need lots of powerhouses to make sure he's taken care of with as little collateral damage as possible," Taylor said.
"What about bringing back, The Nothing?" Nightmare Moon suggested.
"Nope too powerful and uncontrollable. It's nothing and all it cares about is to make everything it touches nothing," Taylor said.
"The Tall Man?" Nightmare Moon ask.
"Too dangerous," Taylor said.
"You could bring Discord back," Nightmare Moon suggested.
"He is powerful," Taylor said as she thinks about it and Discord appears in the room with them.
"I'm back?" Discord ask looking over himself.
"I brought you back because you could be useful but if you pull that stunt again with me you are going back to the void," Taylor said.
"I understand mistress," Discord said meekly not wanting to go back to being nothing.
"When the time comes you and others will be bum rushing Scion before he knows what hits him," Taylor said glaring at him. "Now leave."
"Yes mistress," Discord said puffing away.
"Dear you should just focus on handling the problems at hand first then plan for the future afterwards," Nightmare Moon said.
"Yes, I should, mom," Taylor said looking at her new mother, thanks to the body she's using being made from her genes.

Author's Notes -
1 - That's the reason why very kid friendly works of fiction like Kiki's Delivery Service is horror in my story. Seeing how many people of a religious background see any kind of magic being the work of the devil, she's a horror character. Because of a bunch of sissies, Bible clutching Ned Flanders view a cute witch to be the whore of the devil.
And I'm not making it up seeing the uproar that happen when D&D first came out.
