บท 9: Chapter 9
The three gigantic Titans turned their humongous heads around. Their eyes see something much more intimidating than their alpha.
Something giant, white, porcelain-like scales, glinted from the distance. A moving one dimensional mountain.
Slithering at them while scarring mother earth just by dragging his body against the ground.
With a draconic and serpentine head, its eyes green and a vertical slit, a hint of wisdom glistening from its eyes that bore at them like the abyss.
They were petrified. Petrified at the simpe gaze of the serpent giant.
Kuh…kuh….kuh…kuh…kuh…
Even though their flesh was thick and like steel, the low-frequency reverberation it was producing pierced their body.
That action further intimidated them. But that was not the most intimidating thing about that monster.
The most terrifying thing about it was its size. Its size alone dwarfed the hills and the mountains around it. If you were to put a metric measure on its size then it's about 500 meters.
A titan bordering the size of an average mountain. He was twice the size of Titanus Tiamat.
KURUM….. tug…tug…tug…tug…tug…tug….tug…tug…
The giant serpent titan raised its head, then tilted it. It was the first time it saw another Titan apart from a giant lizard and a giant monkey.
And now he is seeing a giant bug, one smaller and one bigger.
It got curious.
Especially curious about its taste.
It sends another wave of deep clicks, conveying that he is hungry and that they should be his meal.
The three Titan heard the message and were deeply disrespected. This was the first time Gojira saw this, it did hear from his kind on the Snow Land Colony that their young and hunter was killed by a new titan but this is his first time seeing it and this was also the first for the Mutos.
He was strange. He doesn't have any hands, nor sharp claws or even razor fins yet it displays such arrogance.
Of course as an apex predator, they were furious. Their ego was high in the sky and it was hurt by this serpentine creature.
ROAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRR
They all simultaneously roared. The first one going in for the kill was the male Muto which was the smallest of them all.
It was fast. Probably the fastest of the three due to its smaller and leaner shape but it was futile for the serpent.
No matter how fast you are, speed won't do you justice if your opponent is more agile.
It simply curved its body and maneuvered around him, circling around the male muto.
Followed by that, he opened his maw and released a thick green mist. The moment the green mist left his mouth and entered the male Mutos orifice, the fight was effectively over.
Hisentire body went limp.
Movement became impossible as he crashed down from the mountains. In a swift act of revenge for attacking first the serpent quickly lunged forward its maw open to a terrifying degree like a gigantic vacuum and swallowed the Muto in one fell swoop.
It was so fast that even the two giant titans didn't react. Despite the size of the serpent it still exerted speed that even exceeded their reaction.
Instantly, the moment the female Muto realize that her mate just died it went on a crazy rampage.
RAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!
An earth shattering roar fueled with emotion, the mountains quaked and the trees departed. It sounded as if a volcano exploded.
Her sharp roar instantaneously killing all life form
Within 10 kilometers of her range.
She was so angry that she forgot her rival; the gojira and went towards the serpent in crazed manner.
Dum!
Dum!
Dum!
Dum!
Each of her step penetrated the ground and made it shake. She lunged forward with all of her fury but alas.
The serpent simply smashed his draconic serpent head against her and slammed her right to the nearest mountain.
And once again he opened his maw. Last time he just released paralysis poison and didn't use his fang but that was last time.
Two giant arched blade protruded from his upper row. His fang was so razor sharp that some sunlight was momentarily reflected from it.
Then he chomped down. His fang embedding itself on the hard, thick, steel-like flesh of the female Muto and injecting his deadly poison different from the paralysis mist.
And lik his husband she went limp, or to be more precise… dead. He was raring to consume her but there was still another prey.
A gojira. A titan species he is too familiar with already having fought four of them and killing three.
And so he slithered towards the gojira slowly, dragging his giant body against the earth leaving a deep gash from his heaviness.
Dead corpse ain't going nowhere so he put no mind on leaving behind his hunt a bit without eating it first..
The Gojira stood his ground, his massive form radiating pride that reverberated through the atmosphere.
His eyes locked onto the approaching serpent.
The Gojira's dorsal plates glinted in the fading sunlight, his muscles tensed and ready for battle.
The serpent titan, unbothered by the display, continued its slow, menacing advance. Its porcelain-like scales shimmered under the fading sunlight, creating a stark contrast against the darkening sky.
As it moved closer, the Gojira unleashed a thunderous roar, the sound waves rippling through the air and causing the ground to tremble.
ROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOAAAAAAAAARRRR
The serpent hissed in response, its green eyes narrowing as it studied its next opponent.
It lunged forward with lightning speed, its draconic head aiming to strike. The Gojira anticipated the attack, sidestepping with surprising agility for his size.
He swung his massive tail, aiming for the serpent's midsection, but the serpent coiled its body, evading the blow.
The Gojira retaliated by charging forward, his powerful limbs pushing through the rough terrain.
BAAAAANG!
The sound of two steel flesh pounded. He collided with the serpent, using his immense strength to push the larger titan back.
The ground beneath them cracked and shifted, the force of their clash sending shockwaves through the island.
The serpent recovered quickly, slithering around the Gojira and tightening its coils.
The Gojira struggled against the constriction, his muscles straining against the serpent's grip. And this was his final moment.
The giant serpent further tightened its coil, rendering the Gojira dead from the sheer crushing force.
