บท 56: Plan and Execution
Lizzy didn't attack the rats immediately upon sight and decided to hide within a bush near the clearing, with the amount of bush hiding she had done these past few days she thought to herself that it wouldn't be wrong to call her a bush woman, man, or monster?.
Anyway Lizzy didn't attack immediately due to the difference between these rats and the rats she used to fight, yes they all might be larger than normal but none of those past rats stood erect on their hind legs like a human, these rats were more or less a meter tall and these rats also carried spears fashioned from stone and wood.
The weapons the rats carried might not be able to hurt her but them screaming for help might, she currently doesn't have any knowledge on their fighting strength and that is why she couldn't just kick down the front door and walk in as if she owned the place.
"hmm let's scan them first then, the world's become pretty weird to have upright rats" Lizzy stated before focusing on the upright rats.

"Oh they are so much weaker than me but if they accumulated, I might get into the same scenario as the snake earlier"
Lizzy began to brainstorm on a method that would free her from the problem of attracting the attention of multiple rats, the first thing to enter her mind was to use the abyssal breath and burn the rats outside and inside which was a good plan on her opinion since it'll not only burn them but the miasma left by the flames would enter the cave and make them hallucinate but that would also make them scream in turn possibly attracting the giant ape.
Even with the possibility of attracting the ape Lizzy still decided to use this plan since after she breathed fire, she would hide in a nearby location and wait till the rats numbers dwindled to a manageable size, the giant ape coming would either be a blessing or a curse at this scenario, if the ape proceeded to fight the rats and the king, she would just intervene a bit and perform a "Kill Secure" on the rat king.
"Yes I'll be securing not stealing hehe"
Lizzy steeled herself and acted out her plan with a small change to it, first she went and used {Overpowering Intimidation lv.1} to make the guard rats freeze in place preventing them from screaming, to be honest she could've went with the intimidation root but she didnt know if the rat king and subsequent rat rankings would be intimidated so she opted out the brawny and risky plan and used the safe and smart plan.
The rats standing guard on the hole or cave entrance, due to its size, suddenly felt a pressure on their shoulders and began to sweat like a human, they felt their bodies stiffening as if they were injected with anesthetic, their eyes turning to a point where they felt a stare, the rat at the right of the entrance was suddenly met with a wide mouth with thin curved teeth, it's life flashed before it's eyes and all it could say was that it was lucky to leave plenty of offspring.

Lizzy bit off half of its body in a single bite and she was quite proud that her bite power had reach a level where she can bite the monster rats in half, she eyed the other rat while swallowing the lower half of the rat she had killed, she ran towards it and swallowed it whole to the point she felt like was gonna choke.

"Okay note to self dont try performing a pythons swallowing method as a lizard"
Lizzy told herself while moving towards the center of the entrance, she inhaled deeply and then released a long and black flame breath into the hole for a solid 6 seconds before she stopped and hid nearby, a few seconds later miasma began to exit the cave and loud squeaks echoed inside the cave in large amounts as if they were performing a choir.
She waited for quite a bit to ensure whether the ape would come or not and to her surprise it actually didn't come to the cave, the miasma had grown thicker inside the cave, Lizzy believed she should be immune to the miasma since she was the one who spread it and was a creature of the abyss now.
She proceeded to enter the cave and only then did she began to slightly regret her action since she realized that all the bodies would be burned and she couldn't eat nor absorb their genodes, she also then realized that the rat king task wasn't completed yet.
"Well now that I'm in here might as well go kill it, who knows it might be hanging to its last breath"
