เขียนรีวิวI like the idea but I dislike all the cultivation BS that gets added in. I mean, I don't mind that it takes place in a cultivation sect, but why does a system based on cooking reward him with cultivation? Also, adding these little cultivation bonuses to food feels a bit reductive. People should be eating the food because it's good, not because they want an off-brand health potion. This could've been an incredible slice of life novel, but the author couldn't bring himself to drop the power fantasy elements, and the resulting story is mediocre at best.
Should be readable enough to waste some life. Seem to be a food light comedy with no originality but today i am not in the mood for it. The rest is the usual forced nonsense dumb choir comments and little else to see.
Was this and few other novels removed? Cause I know 3 at least was randomly removed including 1 I was waiting for 4 months to be released so now we have to deal with voting pool novels randomly getting deleted?
This is one of the best books I have ever read.... Thank you so much for this novel. I am so happy to have found this novel. Thank you again..
i love it!!! the main character is not greedy and does not start out op. if you want to read this get ready for a steady paced trash to op mc.
it was both interesting and entertaining, I only regret that there are not more chapters and updates
if you can get past the rough translation in parts this is a pretty fun story so far. it's a nice break from the constant face-slapping and fighting in other cultivation novels. the system is fairly low key so far.
I don't like idea of overpowered MC ..it's more fun to watch how they grow stronger relaxing on memory and tricks then to give op abilities .. so bye to this novel after seeing what system can do.. if you want to give system then make it normal it gives rewards but they are reasonable ...
Nice. First off I have to mention that this is another one of the chef or cook in another world stories. This one is set in a cultivation world, with the setting of a sect. It starts off with the MC as an odd jobs disciple of his sect. He works as a cook and runs a small cafeteria for the sect. As people need to still eat before reaching foundation establishment, it is necessary to have many places throughout the sect to eat their meals. So after about a year the MC's cheat finally activates. It is a chef system, and it just so happens that he works as a chef. The system provides a massive start with all the knowledge of the ingredients found on his planet, and then gives him a recipe. The recipe has a limit of 99 servings and offers a +2 to both vitality as well as to the quality of his spirit root. These points are not much at higher levels, but for him maxing one recipe would be good for his prospects. Now here we take a turn from the standard template of the otherworld eatery stories. First off the system does not implement many harsh rules, such as customer order limits or extreme prices. Later we find out that the 99 limit is the limit towards the bonus per day, and not a hard limit on what can be served. So word gets around and his food is a massive hit. He reaches the limit on the first evening. Then unlocks another recipe. I like this one as the micromanaging systems present in the other otherworld stories is not present. Instead it cuts the MC loose to just feed the people and he grows stronger by having people eat his food. No arbitrary missions so far tied to his cultivation level. Just getting some small bonuses each time a person eats his food each day. On the other hand there is no protection offered by an all powerful system. Personally I like the freedom that is shown in this story more than the situation of the others. Of course it is a plus that the MC is situated inside a powerful sect so there are some rules that protect his safety and freedom. As it stands I like this one and would like to read more.
