It didn't take them long to arrive at the destination.

This was where the disciple's group had suddenly been ambushed by the spirit beasts.

There were signs of struggle all over the area, showing that the elders and disciples didn't go down easy. However, there were also no signs of the elders and disciples left in the area for them to follow.

It seemed that whatever had attacked them had already taken them away.

Or it might even be possible that they had killed them and ate them since they were spirit beasts.

But then again, since the disciple that had been sent to trap them had been parasitized by a worm…it was very likely that the other disciples and elders had also been infected by the Control Worm.

It was very likely that they had been taken to see the Control Toad that controlled those Control Worms.

So what they had to do was not give up hope and find traces of their comrades.
