บท 4: Chapter 4: The Gala
"If I can have your attention, young fairies. In accordance with our school's tradition, the annual gala honoring our new students will take place this evening. Students of Alfea, the magic school for fairies, and Red Fountain, the magic school for magicians, will gather here in our castle. I implore you to use your creativity to transform this dull hall into a festive ballroom. To facilitate this, classes for today have been canceled."
The announcement sparked excitement among the girls. "What will you all do until tonight?" Bloom asked. "I'll take care of the decorations," Flora responded, conjuring up some roses with a flick of her wrist. "And I'll handle the music. After all, what's a party without dancing?" Musa chimed in, while Stella spoke about the importance of fashion.
"Stella, speaking of fashion, neither Bloom nor I have anything to wear. Could you lend us a hand?" I asked, turning to the stylish fairy. Thus, we found ourselves in our room, trying on different gowns and dresses with Stella's help. Meanwhile, Flora, Musa, and Techna were already dressed and making comments about the guys from Red Fountain.
This reminded me of the Trix, who were likely to try to steal Stella's scepter at the gala. I needed to be on guard and make sure they didn't succeed.

As I made my way towards the gala, I was aware that the Trix would be searching for Stella's scepter. I had taken the scepter with me, hoping that they would simply give up when they couldn't find it. But fate had other plans, as I walked right into them.
"Look who it is, one of those pixies," Icy taunted me. But her words failed to intimidate me, as I was aware that these Trix were just teenagers with grandiose ambitions. I was about to retort and get a bit of revenge for all they had done to me in my previous life, but I heard someone approach us. Without thinking, I transformed Icy's clothes into a stunning blue dress and swung my arm around her, just as Darcy made her herself and Stormy invisible.
Professor Codatorta came towards us with a surprised expression. "Why aren't you at the gala?" But as he noticed my arm around Icy, his expression changed to a knowing smile. "You better head to the dance floor before someone else sees you, or even worse, Griselda." he whispered the last part and walked away.
I had no choice but to continue with my act, so Icy and I made our way to the dance floor, with the two invisible Trix in tow. "Let go of me!" Icy demanded, but I reminded her that being caught as a witch on Alfea's grounds would have severe consequences.
I decided to make the best of the situation and annoy Icy by forcing her to spend the night with a fairy. But just as I thought everything was going according to plan, I spotted Lily walking towards us with a mischievous grin that promised to cause trouble.

Finding Bloom missing from the main hall, I excused myself from the other fairies and headed outside. To my surprise, I stumbled upon Bloom walking hand-in-hand with none other than Icy. Though it was clear she was being pulled along, I chose to ignore it and play along.
"Bloom, I didn't know you had a thing for dark and broody witches," I teased with a playful smile. The annoyance on both their faces only added to my amusement. I figured if Bloom could have a dance partner, then so could I.
I pulled on my magic, appearing between the two eavesdropping Trix, breaking their invisibility spell and transforming their clothes into stunning yet revealing dresses. Despite the toll it took on me to cast the spell with just my willpower, I masked my exhaustion with a cheeky grin.
"While our sisters are having the night of their lives, why don't we have a bit of fun ourselves?" I suggested, ready for some mischievous fun, I mean dancing.
As I saw Stormy's expression turn to annoyance and anger, I couldn't help but be curious about what was happening between Bloom and Icy. So, I decided to observe and see how their interaction would unfold.
As I watched my sister dance, I couldn't help but feel amused by the dynamic between her and Icy. They were trying to outdo each other, flaring a bit of their magic and causing a magical haze to build up around them. I myself had a difficult time to dance in this body with the other young women and not make a fool of myself.
I couldn't help but sarcastically think to myself, "Who knew that these two witches would love mischief and causing a playful ruckus as much as I do?" Little did I know, I had just found my new best friends.
After some time, the three of us decided to take a break and sit down for a drink and a chat. I couldn't resist asking, "So, what do you think, what are the chances of these two ending up together?" Their reactions were odd, almost disbelieving, but I was still convinced that I was on to something.
Darcy tried to change the topic, not wanting to think about her sister developing, something for a fairy, and asked me how I found them when they were invisible. I playfully replied, "Oh, that. I'll show you mine if you show me yours. I am a hunter, after all, and finding my prey is one of my specialties." I answered them playfully.
Before they could respond, I warned them that they should probably leave before they got in trouble. With a smirk, I made my way back to Bloom and Icy, bringing them out of what ever trance they have danced themselves into.
Later that night, the other girls were all curious about our mysterious dates. Thankfully, they were more focused on Bloom than me, probably because of her stunning dance. I took the opportunity to slip away, catching Bloom's betrayed eyes with a grin.
