Calix's tactic to deflect the topic succeeded when an angry Calliope pouted at him.

"Ah! Poppy wants strawberries too! Papa, don't eat them all ah."

Leslie bit her lower lip, holding back from laughing out loud. Her shoulders trembled as she tried so hard preventing the giggles from escaping.
