Though it was not enough to cripple them and make them unable to proceed, they were aware they couldn't win against the combination of Shen Tianyu and Rong Jian's group.

No one that followed Shen Tianyu or Rong Jian bothered to give the others a single glance and followed their young master and miss onwards. There was no light source beyond the metal gates so they couldn't see what was around them or any dangers present. 

"It's too dark to see shit." Someone grumbled in displeasure.
