Jaylene moved to Joseph Thompson's Riverfront District villa on the afternoon of her discharge. In fact, she went home to get her belongings and pack a light suitcase after leaving the hospital. She told her father that she had received a sudden arrangement from the director to go on a business trip.

Although Randy Ziel had doubts, Jaylene explained convincingly and even took her laptop and some design books with her, so he had to believe her.

To avoid arousing her father's suspicions, Joseph's car did not enter the Ziel family's residential area but waited outside. Jaylene was sent downstairs by her father.

"Jaylene, you fell last night and got an IV drip, and now you're having your period. Be careful while traveling and take care of yourself," Randy cautioned her as she reached the doorway of their residential area.
