บท 555: Chapter 0554: Being Sold

Stepping out of the Emergency Department of the hospital and arriving at the parking lot, Ricky Lewis said to Jaylene Ziel and Joseph Thompson, "I drove here by myself, so I won't trouble you guys."

"Weren't we going to have a late-night snack together?" Jaylene frowned slightly. She remembered Ricky saying he had something to tell her.

"It's late tonight. Let's do it another day," Ricky said casually. "We'll make plans again when we have time and invite Professor White, too."

"Alright," respecting Ricky's opinion, Jaylene saw him open the car door and get in, so she waved and said goodbye to him.

"Let's go. He's driving away," Joseph Thompson pulled his hand towards his car, looking a little unhappy as she kept staring at Ricky's car.

Turning her head, Jaylene glanced at Joseph next to her, took a deep breath before she asked softly, "Joseph Thompson, can I refuse your marriage proposal?"
