บท 253: Chapter-253

Lucien never imagined she'd be welcome back in the scarlet palace with the Little Prince Noah running towards her.

"Little Noah?" Noah wouldn't let go of the embrace and Lucien was confused. She looked around but there was none since she was in her chamber now except for Rosetta.

"He had been in your room the entire day after he learned that you'll be arriving today," Rosetta explained. She bowed. "Welcome back, My Lady. I am happy to see you back."

Soon enough, Lucien was able to set Noah free from the tight embrace. He had been crying but wasn't willing to show his emotions. She could clearly see his rosy cheeks stained with tears and his nose with snot.

In the end, Lucien finds out the reason for him to act so sensitive. The news about her missing for days had spread throughout the Scarlet Palace. After Efthalia got pierced in his chest, David had been put in a tight spot of taking care of things and making sure the news about Efthalia's injury wouldn't be leaked.
