*Sniff*

The flaming wolves sniffed their dead brother, but they smelled another scent lingering in the air.

Also, they smelled the scent of their brother from a different place.

Their fierce red eyes turned towards the large building.

''Grrr…'' They slowly started moving closer to the building.

Inside the building.

Isaac slowly moved away from the window and started approaching the stairs that led to the second floor.

He left the meat and fur behind because the wolves could smell it from a mile away.

*Creak*

Isaac grimaced after taking the first step on the stairs. A loud creaking sound appeared, and he wasn't sure whether it could hold his weight.

*Creak*

But, he also heard the same creaking noise coming from outside; the wolves were getting near!

*Creak*

*Creak*

He quickened his pace, skipped as many steps as possible, and only had to step on three steps to reach the top.

But he couldn't go any quieter.
