"Wake up! "

"Zeph, wake up!"

Zeph woke up with a start as he felt his breath return to him. Pain accompanied his consciousness, as all the injuries and wounds reminded him of the predicament he was in. He winced as a wave of suffering went through him, almost knocking him out again. But he somehow held on. 

He opened his eyes to see a beautiful woman sitting across from him, her hands on his chest helping him ease the pain from some of his injuries. 

"Anastasia?"

He was perplexed as he felt something different about this girl this time. She was as injured as he was with her face smeared with bruises all around, but her face was radiating a different kind of aura. 

Suddenly, she looked at him and their eyes met. Her cold vertical pupils seemed softer this time, as instead of heart-wrenching iciness a wave of refreshing coldness washed over Zeph. It was like he was woken up to reality by those eyes. 

"Where is Kwastir? And…."
