Despite being stronger than any of the disciples or even elders through sect masters, I doubted that I would have any chance when going against their divine protectors. Just the name of those beasts made a cold sweat appear on my skin, with how likely they were to be connected to those protectors that still haunted me in my dreams ever since I first saw them appear from the interdimensional portal!

Ok guys, few words of explanation.

Nothing really happened. Everything was fine yesterday, and it took me only 3-4 hours to reinstall my entire lappy today, so my ability to write wasn't inhibited in the slightest.

But I had to come to the decision what I want to do with this novel.

First and foremost, I won't drop it. No matter what, it will be properly finished... But:

- There are several problems that this novel has. While it was my entry ticket to the professional (more or less at least) writing, it severely weights down on my consciousness whenever I have to write it while knowing that I won't be really able to earn from it.

This is caused by how bad the early chapters are. Even if I managed to fix them up with a great amount of time and effort... The time when it was features is already over. There won't be that many new readers coming to it, while some of the readers will keep dropping this novel day after day. Thats why I decided...

To go with the shorter ending. Part of the worldbuilding that I foreshadowed and prepared in advance will be put aside for now. While we still have a relatively long way to go, I will simply leave this novel with a relatively logical and open ending, that will give me the way to restart the adventure with this world in the form of a sequel.

While it will still take some time, with this change that I decided on, I can already see the ending in my notes. THat's why, to keep this fuzzy feeling of constantly returning to this word that I spent over a year almost a year working on already, I will return to the single chapter a day.

This way, I won't have the pressure to pump filler chapters only for the sake of keeping the wordcount, allowing me to focus more on the projects that are vital to my writing as a whole.

Sorry for the delay, and I hope you will bear with this irresponsible and negatively pragmatic sloth.
