" Come in," said Vanessa, she knew that he was standing outside the door given she saw him ringing the bell of her apartment from the digital peephole. " The door is open you can walk right in." 

Nick pushed open the door of the apartment and walked in his gaze locked on Vanessa. " Why did you call me?" He had half anticipated her to dress promiscuously but instead, here she was sitting in a very calm manner on the dining table that was half visible from the other end of the corridor, with all her clothes in place. At least she was different from what Marcus her, " Is there something that you want to say?" 

" I do," she tilted on the chair in front of her and motioned Nick to take a seat. " Sit down, the conversation won't be long, so sit down and let's have a conversation politely."
