บท 160: Death by poison

An hour ago.

" Good morning, how are we today?" Vanessa asked as she leaned forward and cupped her cheek as she strode inside Nick's apartment, she was the owner of the apartment building. If she wanted she could always sneak inside any apartment and that too righteously, so after she was done knocking Nick out all she has to do was to ask the caretaker of the building to bring her the extra keys to his apartment. 

As she walked inside the apartment she was surprised to find that Cassidy was still awake, maybe it was because of what happened earlier but the nightmares of the haunting incident must have kept her awake, something that Vanessa knew too well. After Freya was killed she too couldn't sleep for months in fact it was better to say that she couldn't even close her eyes without seeing Freya's sprawled rag doll-like body the second she closed her eyes. 

Something she didn't like seeing upon closing her eyes every damn time.
