บท 19: Chapter 19 (Deep talk)
She checked the time and hurry out without saying goodbye to Eun Kyung.
It was 12:51 pm.
Alexandra scanned through her phone to dial Ha Joon’s number as she headed out of the dormitory.
“Why is his number not going through? Argh! I am late...” she said and kept walking.
Her beeping phone made her take a peek.
“I am at the bus terminal”
Ha Joon’s message made her leg move even faster.
“Alexandra?”.
She heard her name but hesitated to look back at who was calling.
“Hey!”.
The voice was closer this time, she turned back and saw Ho Jun standing in front of her.
“Hi! Were... Were you following me?”, Alexandra asked.
Ho Jun saw how restless she was.
“Are you going somewhere? I was about to call your phone but then I saw you dash out of the dormitory... Wanted to say, we should go on our tour today... There is this.....”
“Ho Jun, let us do this some other time huh? I got plans today, I am sorry...”, Alexandra quickly responded.
Ho Jun saw how she checked her phone repeatedly.
“Is it Ha Joon?...”, he asked.
Alexandra looked up at Ho Jun.
“How did you?”.
“Are you two really together? I still don't believe you two Alex, you clearly told me he was annoying and you sounded like you can't stand him, but why.....”, he asked while staring at how uneasy she was.
“I will explain next time we meet... I will text you, bye”, Alexandra said before sprinting away.
“Am I that late to confess Alex?”, he muttered.

They both approached Mr. Ki’s apartment.
Alexandra looked back at Ha Joon before knocking on the door softly.
The tiny voice coming from Dong-min made Alexandra smile, he immediately opened the door and saw her smiling down at him.
“Alex noona!”.
Dong-min cheerfully said while grinding widely at Alexandra, his eyes shifted to Ha Joon’s straight face.
“Is that Alex?”, Mr. Ki said as he joined them.
He warmly welcome the guests into their home.
Mr. Ki made his son bring Ha Joon and Alexandra glasses of juice.
“I am honored to have you two here, thank you so much Alexandra... I really appreciate your kind offer, I am sure Dong-min is super happy right now, he has been looking forward to seeing you”.
Alexandra smiled heartily, she nodded and looked at Dong-Min.
“We are very honored, this is my friend... He has volunteered to help Dong-min perfect his English as well, in no time... He will be speaking it so well”, Alexandra added.
Dong-min who could not fully understand what they were talking about stared at them confusedly.
It has been one hour to the tutoring, Mr. Ki had entered his room to have a video call concerning work, and Alexandra was seen sitting opposite Dong-min.
The smile on their faces made it known that they have been enjoying the tutor and didn't notice an hour has passed.
Ha Joon who sometimes helped Dong-min to translate whatever Alexandra says, sat down with his leg crossed looking unbothered.
Dong-min looked up at him and asked.
“dangsin-i geunyeoleul humchyeobogo issdaneun geos-eul al-assseubnida. du salam-eun namja chinguwa yeoja chingu-ibnikka? (meaning, I NOTICE YOU HAVE BEEN STEALING GLANCES AT HER, ARE YOU TWO BOYFRIEND AND GIRLFRIEND?).
Ha Joon’s surprised expression made the boy giggle.
Alexandra who was expecting Ha Joon to translate what Dong-min had just said, took a quick glance at Ha Joon and asked.
“What did he say?”.
Ha Joon scoffed and look away while folding his arms.
“Nothing... Are you almost done?”, Ha Joon asked.
He saw Alexandra’s curious eyes on him, Ha Joon knew she wanted the translation so bad, he ignored her stare and brought out his phone.
Dong-min didn't stop giggling.
After a while, Alexandra and Ha Joon were done with Dong-min for the day, they promised to be back tomorrow to continue where they left at.
“My sister wanted me to bring you, thanks to your introduction...”, Alexandra said as soon as they left Mr.Ki’s apartment, “I don't think she is in right now though, she is probably with Jake... Hm”, she added.
Ha Joon was silent.
Alexandra walked side by side with him down the street.
She held her bag in her right hand while the other hand was close to Ha Joon’s hand.
The consistent hitting of the two hands made Ha Joon look down at their hands, he had no problem holding her hands before then but that day, at that moment, he suddenly started feeling nervous.
“Now I had to lie to my sister that we are dating, I thought we were only lying to people in the school, why is my sister involved... You don't understand how I have bluffed out about not.....”
Alexandra paused immediately she turned her face and saw his eyes down her hand.
Alexandra looked down and noticed how close their hands were.
She cleared her throat and shifted a bit from him, while she kept walking.
He noticed and glared at her.
Alexandra could feel his eyes on her, she instantly felt her heart beating fast.
Her eyes caught a street bench some feet from them.
“Ah! My legs are killing me! Let us sit for a while”, Alexandra suggested as she hurried towards the bench.
“Why is my heart beating fast this time! Oh my God! What is wrong with me? Get a hold of yourself Alex, it is just random... It is definitely not because of him”, she thought and got closer to the bench.
Ha Joon noticed her reaction, he smiled as he approached Alexandra who had sat down.
“Ah!!! It is so nice here! I have a feeling the snow would fall any day from now... So nice”, she said out loud while stretching her arms.
She turned her face and watch Ha Joon sit next to her.
“Right! What did Dong-min say to you earlier, it seemed serious?.. Could tell by your reaction”, Alexandra asked while staring at Ha Joon.
He thought back to how the boy had asked him.
“It's nothing... He was just asking about the pronoun and noun”.
Alexandra smirked.
“Then you should have told me! I told you to always translate everything he says, I know it was tiring but then....”, she said, while patting his thigh.
“Then you need to tell me everything... Okay! That way we would understand him better and I believe he would understand it faster”, she added.
Her eyes immediately followed his eyes down to his thigh.
She saw her hand on them and quickly took it off.
Alexandra cleared her throat while looking around.
Ha Joon gazes at her.
He could tell how anxious she was.
“What is wrong with me! Why was my hand there?.. Stupid hand! How did you manage to touch him!”, she thought and catch a glimpse of his eyes on her.
“My heart is about to fall off, why does he stare this intensely? I am so nervous! I can't even look at him right now, I won't be able to resist his eyes! They are so perfect... How is he so perfect”.
The more he stared at her, the more he realized how nervous, she was, how her hands clenched on her thighs while looking around.
Ha Joon smiled to himself, he looked away and tried to figure out the sweet feeling he has been feeling lately, he felt different and caught himself staring at her so many times without even realizing it, smiling at how cute she laughs and talk, how she eats and how she smiles.
How gullible she was.
Watching her smile so heartily towards people and treating everyone with kindness.
Ha Joon could not explain what it was but he likes the feeling.
Her face makes him happy, and he figured he want to see them often.
Ha Joon turned his face to her and this time their eyes met.
The sweet feeling returned, he stared into her eyes and felt shivers down his spine, it went down to all parts of his body.
“What is this?”, he thought.
Alexandra’s eyes fell on his lips, she blinked severally and tried looking away but she could not.
“Will you follow me to see my grandmother?”, he nervously asked.
Alexandra’s eyes moved back up, she stared at him for a second.
“Y....your grandmother?...”
