บท 37: Differences are what makes us unique

(Multiple pov)

As someone who had the honour to stand among gods, Felines, Drakkotas, Guardians and even met world cores, Galaxies and a few Demi-universes, these people are nothing in my eyes.

It is the basis that I can be arrogant because back then on earth I had been given face by such powerful beings.

I can also add that I am older than them by more than a century, what are they?

Each time I try my best to mind my own business some 'pop-goes-the-weasel fool appears.

"Get up! Kneeling before me, it is no different than slapping me."

"Second miss Jah, it is not what I had meant, I just..."

Du-Poi Aliah, rose from her kneeling position quickly, her head was bent. Inwardly she cursed.

From the time Second young miss Jah Di'ordi and Au Birdice appeared, she had been watching their every move.

Of course, her gaze was on the smaller of the two, waiting for a moment to approach.

Finally, she had found the perfect opportunity to curry favour with the second young miss Jah Di'ordi but it had become so sad that she had failed and frustrating that her cousin from the patriarchal line had appeared.

Is this elder cousin OK in the head?

Why would she implicate her like this?

"I have asked before, so I will ask again. What do you see? Since I have unwanted students nearby, then it extends to you."

Birdie pursed her lips feeling slightly annoyed, this time had been for only her and her master but now, she can only make way for these four 'intruders'! Birdie had always seen this Du-Poi child as an enemy.

Trying to be polite and all of that is only lip service.

"Young miss before us is the beautiful earth and trees,"

"you?"

"Young miss, I see only the colour of the earth."

"I agree, with the backdrop of the-"

"Since everyone agrees, then it is fine. But is that all?"

Birdie decided to say one simple sentence, there is no need for flowery words of flattery, because her master might not like it.

"It is brown,"

A breath was released she had no idea she had held, upon seeing her master nod her head slightly.

"Mm, but over in the south it is silver and in the southwest area it is a pale tone almost white, some areas are gold representing the sand."

"Yes, you are right young miss,"

Du-Poi spoke quickly, Birdie sneered seeing that eager to please look. Did she not know this Du-Poi? Of course, she did, from the first time Birdie had laid eyes on this girl she had felt that she was a threat.

That curtain fall of pitch black hair, those eyes--her entire being was a threat.

Who would not pity her?

Who would not acknowledge her weak nature and soft tone?

It is only when she tried and her master paid her no heed that Birdie felt safe relaxing fully, making sure to listen to the words her master spoke next.

"I am but neither of you has given me a concrete answered."

"Young mi-"

Du-Poi tried to speak but with a sweep of her blue gaze, and a few words, she was silenced.

"I once heard an etiquette teacher state with righteousness that; it is the responsibility of the wealthy to be generous to the poor. I wanted to laugh."

These words...

Birdie felt startled suddenly, her master is like this; she would say something trivial in the beginning but then continuing on to the beginning the meaning would become heavy.

Still, I opened my mouth as if to coax her, "Young miss, some people-"

I stared off in the distance as if seeing something out there but it is nothing but the clay toned earth. Birdie is really fitting in being my servant pet.

She always knew when and where, extremely loyal, and showed extreme consideration.

Unlike the first.

" Eh, some people but not all. I am greedy enough though to notice this but have never cared. Here, if I work hard and make money becoming rich, why should I then care about those not worthy enough to become rich as well?"

Well on this note, making money is only asking my siblings to invest it for me.

I still thought that my words seemed righteous enough.

Absentmindedly I continued by saying a few words mentioned in my past life.

"Those colours are like the humans each has their own use, flaws and beauty. Humans are different, and differences are what makes us unique..."

The words trailed off and I simply stared off in a distance, seeing but not really seeing.

In the twenty-first century, those thoughts were true but after the mad feline queen had attacked and the world had slowly recovered... What was unique?

How many races of humans had died off back then?

Earth? They call the dirt, and everything associated with that context earth here.

I could not understand that but realised or rather concluded after a quick talk that this is what helped us as humans cope.

Familiarity.

That is what helped the humans who came to this world to prosper.

"Second young miss Jah's words are quite insightful,"

This was said from one of the older girls, I nodded my head seeing no need to reply.

Six girls stood there gazing at various parts of the garden.

I did like the blue and red display before but now, I think the sight before me is much better.
