The child's distinctive voice buzzed in Rachel's ears. Rachel was silent for a moment, trying to hear him again. Afraid that the voice would appear because of his longing for Alisa.

Rachel looked behind her back, in the direction the voice came from.

The chubby toddler walked towards him.

"Alice!" Rachel whispered in surprise.
