In many cultures and religions, it is said that people are meant to reincarnate after they die, and the reincarnation is based upon karma points. The more good karma points you have, the better your next life will be.
Other people, say that after dying we either go to hell or heaven, and this also follows the rule of karma points.
While the other people say that, heaven, hell or after life, all of this is a myth and we should live our lives to fullest.
