บท 29: Hostage of the aggressor

I insist that my mother and Jonas return to their homes. There's no point in them staying with me. Jonas insists that he needs to take care of my case. And although their care does me good, I didn't want any of them to realize that I'm being held hostage by a rapist. I don't know what this man is capable of doing. He's crazy. He abused me inside the police station and now he is there by my side as my guard.

I lie to Jonas, I say I already have a lawyer. I say that my defense is already being handled by a lawyer friend of mine, he doesn't realize I'm lying. I was the one who got the position he holds at the hospital as director through my influence. I argue with my mother that she can't stay with me in the hospital and that in a short time I'll be back at the police station and she won't be able to stay with me.
