บท 47: Zia's desire
"Zia?" Will called her and she remained silent.
"Zia, you can always tell me what's on your mind" Will spoke patting her head
She took her book and write
"I want to undo my seal"
"Why?" Will asked a little loudly
she again remained silent
"Is this a sense of guilt?" he asked and she ignored him
"Charles, inform Noah that we are going to his house," Will said and left the room
"Zia, what's wrong?" Charles asked softly
She lowered her head avoiding looking at him
"Can I ask when exactly the book was given to you?"
she took her book and wrote
"Around 3 years back"
"3 years you say" he mumbled and started thinking
"3 Years? isn't it the time you got heavily injured in your fight with the Maracas?" he spoke and Zia felt angry and frustrated
While looking for leads following her mother's death. Zia found Maracas, who is also known for his shape-shifting power.
As Will feared if it did was a person who shape-shifted as a tiger and killed althea?
Maracas was one of the top killers in that field

Zia's following traces from her village and some more clued found by Will found that her mom Althea is the second most powerful magic user after her father Eren
Her mother who has complete control of one of the five elements of water is hard to beat by a normal person unless she exactly knew what was happening at that time.
Althea was always called a lion in the fight and except for Eren, no one can actually defeat her. That's when she found many other powers such as shapeshifting, invisibility, Flying,and many other powers
She wanted to investigate privately and individually at first and that's when she accidentally met Maracas in an illegal auction of slaves.
Maracas who was a previous noble in the society is also known for his shape-shifting power and his wealth.
After knowing all about his illegal business Zia decided to attend his slave's auction. Being the auction being conducted while wearing masks so that no people will be known to others it was a safe option.
But that didn't last long when Maracas felt immense magic power from Zia's body.
She was taken to another room.
"What is a magic user child doing here?" he asked looking down at her with his cold and ruthless eyes
she took her book out and wrote
"I want to ask you something"
"Ask me? a kid? Do you even know who I am? and what's with that book are you mute"
"I guess you are," He said with a small chuckle while sitting down
"What do you need to ask?"
"Do you know a lady named Althea?"
He got surprised
"Why? do you know a lady named Althea?" he asked calmly
"I do?" she wrote
"Too bad I don't," he said casually
"Tell me the truth," she wrote and again showed him
"Go home. This is not a place for kids"
"She was killed," She wrote and showed it to him
"Do I care?" he asked
One thing led to another and a fight started between them
Her undeveloped power and Garina which is still in a baby form and is sucking her blood didn't help at all and she lost the fight with heavy wounds
"Next time, I won't let you go this easily if you choose to attack me," he said with his cold voice and threw her out of the place

Zia doesn't remember much of how she returned back to school. She got hospitalized for a month.
Although later Will destroyed Maracas and his whole estate, power, rule, and business making him completely wiped out of the map.
For the first time, he got angry with Zia and stopped talking to her later for around 6 months
But they found that Maracas was not the one who is involved with Althea.
It was found that 5 years back that is during Althea's death, Maracas was in the west region destroying the house of a count who betrayed Maracas while setting him up with the police.
Zia regretted her actions but more than that she felt extremely powerless
She found that as long as her power is sealed there is no way she can get powerful and releasing her seal is not a simple work of a magician
She felt so frustrated and wanted for her seal to be released with all her heart,
A month later after she got out of the hospital while she was going on a little walk to the market with Amber. She saw that person who is wearing a black robe which is making it difficult to hardly see his skin or face.
"Take this book and your desire will come true" is what he said and she didn't see him again

Zia read the complete details of the book but meanwhile, she completely forgot about her seal when a piece of new news came out about a death of a magic user whose blood is completely drained and was found near the wall of death, and later he completely forgot about the book that it got completely wiped out of her memories
That until she heard about that book once again when Adar mentioned it. And truly it did disappear without a trace
making a wish is not so simple relating to the book
while forming a black magic circle with some blood and the spell in the book a wish should be asked and that's when a bribe, a part of the body is given to the devil in return for the wish.
It is believed that the flesh is being eaten by the book which is great lucifer for granting a blood wish of a person.

"Zia, you know that you can't undo your seal right?" Charles asked
"Why?" she wrote and showed him
"Cause we don't know who sealed your powers in the first place. If it's your mom without knowing her reason we can't carelessly find out about your seal and do the undoing the same goes for your dad and I am sure your mom must have known about your seal too but still she never let it out. Maybe she wanted you to live a normal life?"
