Arianne slapped his hand away and continued eating. "Don't touch me. I still haven't forgiven you." Just from his single touch, sickening memories of her confinement started playing in her mind. Accepting him, even going all through that? She sneered, he thinks too highly of himself.

If she didn't faint due to some unknown reason, she would not let him off easily last night. His apology alone could not excuse himself from mental pain she'd received. She wanted to let him feel personally when one's wish wasn't respected.
