Arianne sprinted towards him, crimson hair and crystal tears flapping in the wind.

The air vibrated, and the people, who were glancing in Dimitri's direction, dazedly shook their heads after finding their situation strange before returning to their respective positions while wiping their eyes in confusion. Why are they crying? Is there dust on their eyes?

The floor's width on top of the wall was only five meters, so Arianne was able to reach him in just a few seconds, but so what? Her hands just passed through his body. She couldn't pull him back a single inch, nor could she block his path, and her words didn't even reach him.

She stared at her hands, despising them for the first time. She was so useless.

Is there nothing she could do besides accompanying him in this last moment?
