บท 143: A glimpse of Dimitri's past (1)

"That was marvelous, Little Lamb." Dimitri clapped. He lifted his eyes and came into contact with her irises, trying to find the suspicious shade of red that he saw a moment ago, because if that was not an illusion, the dog in the underground cellar would likely escape, which would be detrimental to his plan.

He only had Little Lamb for less than a day, and if she's taken away, he doesn't know what to do at all besides bring back his past persona, the one that doesn't have a single shred of empathy for all living beings.

Oddly, her irises were still of the same color, mixed with vibrant forest green and faint blue streams, deepening the creases on his forehead filled with glistening sweat and loose blue strands of his hair sticking together, clearly indicating that he had a hard time dealing with her fierce strikes seconds ago.
