บท 1: Part 1. Reborn in the Pokémon World
Rays of sunlight shone through the window, illuminating the spacious apartment. On the bed lay a young man of 20-22 years old. As the sun began to blind his eyes, he started to rise with a heota.
"Damn, I forgot to close the blinds again," he said aloud.
His daily routine was chaotic, or rather, he didn't have one at all. The only thing that never changed was his workout. Even as a child he had developed the habit of exercising, so working out had become a standard daily norm. After completing a set of exercises and classes on machines put together for him by a fitness trainer, the young man went to breakfast. Having quickly made himself a coffee and sandwiches, the young man returned to his room. He sat down at his desk and turned on his computer. The first thing he did was check his channel stats.
"Great, another +5400 subscribers, very soon the number will reach two million..... "I'll have to think of an idea for a congratulatory video."
A young man named Gray, he lives alone in his own apartment. He is a popular streamer and earns good money. The subjects of his streamers are his favorite Pokemon games. Since childhood he was a fan of this franchise, and even now, most of his room is filled with toys and merchandise related to Pokémon. The only thing he never liked was the untapped potential of all of the main character Ash's Pokémon. Many of his pokémon didn't evolve to their final form, and some of the ones that did manage to reach the final form of evolution couldn't under his command and training to good effect. Therefore, he especially enjoyed reading various fanfics, short stories, and articles from various sources about Pokémon. He wanted to learn as much and as much as possible about Pokémon.
But don't jump to the conclusion that he loves all pokémon. No, that's far from true. He learned one principle from childhood, that your birth determines your future. Gray wasn't born into a very wealthy family. He had to wear out the clothes of his older brother, and the main food was always only pasta or cereals. Vegetables and fruits he saw only on holidays, about meat and fish was out of the question. Because of this he was often teased at school, which was the reason why he started to train. After a few broken noses and trips to the principal, who usually didn't care, as long as Gray didn't hurt anyone from wealthy families, so that his income wouldn't decrease, he started to be feared, but at the same time the bullying stopped. Gray watched one of his classmates, Ben, with envy. He grew up in a very rich family, so his life was like a fairy tale. Even the principal had to treat him politely, because Ben's father was one of the main sponsors of the school. So how did Gray get into this school? It's very simple, Ben's father persuaded the management to make this school public, to be a good man in the eyes of the public.
So Gray realized that the most important things in life were money and status. This went against the worldview of his parents, who tried to instill in him moral values and such for one moment good but fabulous concepts as friendship, morality, morals, love. But at one point he came up with a plan to free himself from these useless people in his opinion. One night he stealthily got up and turned on the gas stove to full power, and after waiting for a while he went outside. His father got up early, and being in the habit of smoking, he did not even pay attention to the strange odor in the apartment, and lit a match. There was an explosion. With the help of some machinations and acquaintances from school, he managed to create a solid alibi for himself, but he didn't even need it. The cops didn't even consider it attempted murder. It was an accident, that's all. After this event Gray lived a free life, on the money he was paid by the state, he began to rent a small room in the dormitory, where he began to conduct his first streamings. The viewers loved Gray's style of play, he always played the most difficult Pokemon games like Pokemon Radical Red, Pokemon Regenade Platinum, and similar games, he always made strategies that helped him win battles, he wasn't afraid to sacrifice weak Pokémon with insufficient potential to save his strong Pokémon.
"Ehhh, now if the Pokémon world was real, how many things could be done... what kind of status could be achieved? However, this is all just my daydreaming. It's time to get to work." said Gray. After that, the stream started.
That evening Gray went to the nearest ATM to withdraw money from his card. Returning home, he went to the store and bought himself a bottle of wine. He wanted to rest today. But while crossing the road, a sports car crashed into him at a great speed. Some drunk driver, didn't even stop, but just quickly drove away from the scene.
"They won't even look for him, he'll be able to pay them off anyway" - to his surprise, Gray felt no pain at all, probably due to the painful shock. And Gray realized that in such a state, his only option was death. But Gray didn't care about that, he just wanted to know what would happen afterward.
Unbeknownst to everyone, a small pink and gray figure with golden rings on its horns appeared behind Gray. If Gray had seen him, he would have immediately recognized the legendary Pokémon Hoopa.... Standing next to him was a man with many Pokéballs on his belt, and he himself pulled out some sort of chip-like object.
"Can you connect this chime to his soul?" - The pokémon trainer asked. Hoopa only laughed... "Of course, as I understand it, may I bid you farewell, master?" The man only smiled slightly as his body turned into sand.
Viridian City
There was a boy about 8 years old lying in a hospital bed. His whole body was purple with poison. Doctors were giving him a bleak prognosis. At that moment, Gray's soul entered this kid's body. On instinct, he began to consume this child's soul, which was already extremely weakened. At the time when Gray had completely absorbed the soul, he took over that kid's body. Although no. It was now his body. Due to the extreme fatigue and pain he began to feel, his mind shut down.
Three days passed
The doctors were extremely surprised to see how fast Gray's body was recovering.They were sure that the boy would die. By the evening of that day, he finally regained consciousness.
"Where am I?!" - was the first thought that came into Gray's head. He didn't realize what was going on around him or where he was. Suddenly a sharp headache, accompanied by new memories, appeared in Gray's head. Gritting his teeth, he began to regain consciousness. After a while, the headache subsided, giving Gray time to finally think about what had happened.
"I've entered the world of Pokémon, but from what I remember, it's far from being the happy and kind world it's portrayed to be, rather the opposite, not dying here is already considered a feat."
