Miaomiao shot random questions at Xu Xiuying to divert her attention. He didn't want this snow woman to discover several drops of yin essence that he gave to Jiang Lan.
"Hmm, you're a greedy one. Don't worry about the benefits. For a starter, my sect will provide you 100 spirit stones each month."
Upon hearing that Xu Xiuying promised to give Miaomiao a wage of 100 spirit stones a month, Jiang Lan and Luo Cheng widened their eyes in shock.

In a certain tavern, Wei Huang sat on a stump chair and sipped a cup of hot tea. He didn't pay attention to the two injured men, who were kneeling in front of him. One of them lost an eye, but the other had bandages covering his entire head.
These injured men were the surviving thugs who had fought Mao Miaomiao yesterday.
Wei Feng and his sister stood behind their grandfather, waiting for these men to finish their story.
"In other words, you attempted to rob a 1st stage noob, but you got owned," Wei Feng clicked his tongue. He didn't mind that these thugs used the name of their clan to rob people, but he couldn't stand that they lost.

Wei Huang sighed and turned toward the ordinary civilians who worked behind the bar, "So, Luo Cheng was here, right?"
The bartender nodded five times in a row in panic, "Y-Yes, sir!"
"And he rescued the young cultivator with him?"
"Yes, sir."
"Has he damaged our shop?"
"No, sir."

Wei Huang stood up and left the tavern. Wei Feng and his sister followed after him.
"Grandfather, did the Xu Clan provoke us?"
