Siren City was once a territory of a mermaid race, who lived in the Blood Sea. They founded this city to trade with other demon races and acquire resources. 

After the cultivator-demon war, this city fell to the hands of human cultivators. All mermaids retreated back into the Blood Sea and never returned. 

When the Liu Clan solidified their power and established the Liu Dynasty, Dong Zhongying, the descendant of a deceased general, was given the Siren City as a reward for his father's service in the war.
