บท 73: 70. Confrontation

(A/N: Do you guys think that Bulma, Toru and Tio were really easy. But according to their original personalities, I don't see anything wrong. Tio is a masochist, she fell for Hajime in just one fight, after he banged her up a little with his fists. Bulma got into Vegeta's bed because she felt he was lonely in the anime. My version of Bulma is still very tame compared to that. Bulma spent a week nursing Vegeta with the other girls. In the anime she got together with Yamcha, just because he was strong and a bit good looking. Now imagine Vegeta.

Toru had her life changed because of Vegeta. He helped her do something that she could only dream of. They spent at least a good time together with a lovely date and everything. I did my best in building that up.)

I have completed the training for my Ascended Super Saiyan form through the battles in the Top-class area. The battles weren't without injuries. Even now, I have some bruises, here and there. The fights were intense and I had fought a lot of times this past week.

I have a feeling that I'll be able to achieve Super Saiyan 2 very soon. Call it a gut feeling but this might not be a good thing that will happen to me. I have been stalling from getting out of here. I have gained enough strength from the top class area. Now, I can only grow stronger by fighting General class or higher opponents.

Thinking that I started making my way home. On the way, I was enjoying the scenery around me. I was leisurely going my way, when a hulking figure blocked my path. That man was built like a BodyBuilder. He was standing a chariot that was being pulled by bulls.

He had a Lion Hide covering his upper body. His legs weren't visible as he was standing behind the bulls on the chariot. He was looking at me with a scrutinising gaze. Probably trying to assess me. I didn't back down from his gaze either and looked at him with the same expression with arms folded on my chest.

"Mortal warrior, I have come with the orders of my King to exterminate your being". Heracles said to Vegeta in a neutral tone. Heracles respected strength and he could tell that Vegeta was the strongest Mortal warrior yet.

"Hmph, you think you can exterminate me!" I said to him with my head held high. The Gods had finally made their move and they just had to send Heracles of all people. I sent a mental command to my clone to take my family to the hidden base. I didn't want any distractions in a fight that could very well be a Fight to the death.

"I am in no mood to bicker about trivial things. Let our fists do the talking". Heracles waved his hand dismissing the chariot underneath him and came at me with his fist cocked back. I matched his fist with full power. Even then I was knocked back quite a distance away.

Well, now we know, who has the bigger fist. But I am not helpless just yet. I still have my Speed to help me in this bout. I sped towards him and delivered right to the back of his head. He suddenly held my kick in place with is hand. Not getting discouraged, I just loaded a Ki blast in my hand and knocked his hand away.

He had smoke coming out of his hadn't. There wasn't much of a bruise but just smoke from the explosion that happened from the blast in his hand. "I commend you mortal. You have a good amount of strength. Now let's see yo handle this". Saying that, He summoned a massive war-hammer in his hand.

The hammer had a lion head on it side with spike on one side and plain hammer on the other side. The hammer was massive, as big as as Heracles himself. Who was a good eight feet long. He swung that hammer at me with all his strength.

I dodged that swing by tilting my torso back wards. That swing created a massive ravine on the Ocean floor. I kicked him the gut as he was completing his swing. That kick sent him back a little, telling me that my attacks had some effect on him. Even if not a lot, at least he was not an immovable mountain.

Our bout continued just like that. I utilised my speed and he utilised his strength, experience and intuition to counter and fight me. I fired a massive Big Bang at him but he just knocked it away with his hammer like a ball. That hammer definitely has mystical properties.

After a good hour of fighting each other. Heracles looked at me and now he had a bit of a smile on his face. Looks like, I found another Battle Junkie like myself. "Warrior, you have gained my respect. Even with the odds against you, you still haven't given up and keep fighting me. I will talk with my King to pardon this unjust punishment that has been given to you". I just looked at him with a Battle hungry smile. Without saying anything, I lunged at him to continue our fight.

Heracles had the same though and they continued their fight. I was so engrossed into fighting him that I had entered something like a tunnel vision. Where I was just focused on fighting him and finishing him off. This fight was doing wonders on my control and helping me advance further on the road of power.

Just then an arrow came from behind Vegeta, piercing his chest. The arrow went clean through him, leaving a gaping hole in his chest. I turned around and just looked at where the arrow came from. I knew that I didn't have much time. "What is the meaning of this Heracles. Our King gave you task and instead of fulfilling that task. You are dawdling around fighting this Mortal". Apollo, the God of Sun said to Heracles with an angered voice.

Heracles looked at Apollo with fury in his eyes. Heracles felt that Vegeta wasn't a bad person. Warriors can understand each other better with just a fight. Heracles felt that Vegeta was more trustworthy than some of the Gods in his pantheon.

Apollo not waiting for an answer, just vanished in a bright flash of light. Heracles felt sorrow for Vegeta but that was it. He wasn't going to fight his own kind just to defend a person, he didn't even know for that long.

Vegeta looked at all this with unbridled fury in his eyes. That fury of being hit by a cheap shot was unending. Vegeta died but that Fury ignited something within him, pushing him further.

While Heracles was out of Olympus fighting Vegeta. Not everything was quiet in the pantheons and among the Gods. The nemesis of every pantheon had taken the chance to make a march on the mount Olympus.

Chances like these weren't common and Zeus wasn't the best in wisdom. He was vain and arrogant. The giants of Jotunheim, Asuras, Titans and others were currently marching with their forces to conquer and get revenge from the Gods for the unjust casted upon them.

This would give the perfect chance for Vegeta to come back. Stronger than ever.
