บท 78: Trade

Alex was in quite a good mood this time.

Her last two library escapades hadn't ended so peacefully, leaving Alex very grateful for the anticlimactic conclusion. Although she was still clueless about what her reward would be.

Alex attempted to open her eyes, only to shut them tight when she was hit by numerous bright lights overhead. After a few moments of adjustment, she managed to open her eyes normally again.

Instead of seeing the familiar ceiling of the library's top floor, Alex was met with a spectacle of floating, shimmering lights drifting to and fro. To her greatest surprise, some of them were shaped like differently sized balls, while others took on various odd forms. Alex found herself starstruck, analyzing what these phenomena could mean.
