Hyuna carried Il Kwan on her back while using her maximum speed to traverse the forest. She looks at the blood dripping from his wound and then at the trees around the forest.
She suddenly thought of something and began changing her direction.
She suddenly stops at the cliff and takes out a bag pack from her ring which was gifted by Ji Eun. She then poured a healing powder that she obtained from the outer sect.
With the use of the powder, the healing rate of Il Kwan's wounds would hasten by two times.
After she applied the powder hastily, she quickly returns the bag inside her ring. She then carried the still unconscious Il Kwan to the bushes at the side and positioned herself near the edge of the cliff.
She waited to stand calmly while looking at the forest in front of her.
Her senses are at the ready and her eyes are sharply observing the front.
She has already deactivated her transformation array and has activated her clothes physique booster array.
Hyuna's heart is actually pounding a bit faster as she nervously waited for her enemy.
This was an abrupt plan and she did not know whether this could work or not. But she has no other way to escape that thing.
With the serious injury of Il Kwan, the first aid that she did will only alleviate his condition. But he still needed to be thoroughly checked to make sure that he is fine. And if she continue running through the forest, she knew that his condition would worsen as time went by.
That is why… she decided to fight the snake with all her might in this place.
Here, she might have a chance to defeat it.
As someone who frequents this forest, she knew that below this cliff is a death trap.
A steep fall would lead to a river bank filled with sharp-edge rocks. If the snake is lucky it would land on the river, if that happens, she still has time to escape.
That's what came to her mind when she noticed where they are.

Her attention was soon interrupted by the rustling sound of the trees as if there is a huge creature ground through them.
Hyuna could not help but feel perplexed at this instance that her hand began trembling. She seems to be unable to relax.
She grabs the two daggers on her back and focused.
Then all of a sudden, a large black head with a wide wing-like neck darted out of the trees and directly attacks her.
Hyuna saw the incoming snake strike with its huge maw wide open.
She felt like that large hole could engulf her in one go.

The large maw closes as the long neck retracted back to its huge body.
But the snake was not able to hit anything as Hyuna's figure has already dodged high up in the air.
Before the snake's head retracted, she has already landed on the ground like a cat.
"Come on!" she shouted with a serious expression on her face.
This shout of hers is something that she wanted to do so that the fear in her heart would at least lessen and her courage increase.
The Cabra glared at her and then suddenly brandishes its tail.
But Hyuna easily dodges them like an agile monkey.
She suddenly formed a few hand seals and lets the two blades cut her hand lightly.
When the two blades got drenched with her blood, they started to float in the air.
Hyuna positioned herself in a fighting stance as the two blades began to rotate above her head.
Slowly and surely they rotated faster and faster.
She had seen how Il Kwan was able to penetrate the tough hide of this snake, so she intends to do the same.
The snake began attacking her with its tale, but she easily dodges them agilely.
This seems to have annoyed the creature as it began to wildly trash the cliff.
Suddenly, the snake stopped attacking her using its tail but instead uses its head.
Hyuna saw this chance and quickly threw the rotating daggers that resemble a drill.
The snake seem to have a mind of its own as its eyes squinted and showed that she has fallen into its trap.
Hyuna showed a surprised expression on her face as she showed a panicked expression.
Then the snake suddenly swipes its whole body and uses it to push her off the cliff.
Hyuna is currently concentrating on this attack and the creature seems to know that this is so. That is why it did this attack using its whole body.
Meanwhile, the guy who is hiding in the shadows has connected his consciousness to the snake and he is the one who is actually controlling the snake in this fight.
That is the reason why the snake is able to fight efficiently.
However, he was stunned to know that his opponent is actually a beautiful young girl and that this young girl's skill is very mysterious.
She is not using spirit Qi, but instead the elements.
He could tell this because of the trace of wind element covering the long daggers.
He could tell how dangerous those daggers are and if the snake was hit by them, he is sure that it would easily penetrate its skin like a hot knife through butter.
A slight smirk appears on his face as he shook his head.
"She is still young after all… What a waste of talent… But since you belong to the Urokai Sect, I will still not spare you… All of the people in the Urokai Sect must die!" he growled.
As the thick body of the snake attacked the young girl who is now panicking, he could not help but sneer.
Then suddenly, he saw the young woman jumping up and easily dodging the close attack from the Cabra.
Then he saw her flipping then as if she was able to kick the air, her figure actually plummeted towards the body of the snake-like meteor with both of her feet towards the ground.
He quickly commanded the snake's head and attacked the falling figure.
Snap!
But it missed its target.
Suddenly, he felt a pang of pain as the heels of the feet of the young girl hits the body of the snake.
This made him feel confused.
He wanted to retract the body, but then he discovered that the snake suddenly felt weak.
His eyes went wide in disbelief.
"This is impo…" before he could say anything he suddenly had a bad premonition.
He quickly disconnected his connection to the Cabra, but then it was already too late.
Right in front of him, there are two swirling blades inches away from his chest.
Puchi!
Arrgghh!!!
The guy was still an expert even though he has been weakened after all. So in the instant that he was about to get hit by the rapidly rotating long daggers, he was still able to tilt his body to the side.
However, a part of his body was still hit. He sacrificed his right arm to save his life.
He howled painfully as his whole right arm was turned into shreds.
The man fell to the ground in a sorry manner as he was carried by his dodging momentum.
Blood could be seen gushing all over the place as he howled in pain.
Then suddenly, he notices something odd about those spinning blades.
With wide eyes, he saw them turning around and coming right back at him.
He forces his body to move, but then the spinning blades have already arrived. He suddenly jumps to the side but his left foot was the one that got hit and was shredded to mincemeat.
Arrgghh!!!
"Damn you! I will kill you!" he cried out loud.
The blade once again returns, but the speeding creature has already appeared before him and blocks those spinning blades.
The beast is huge with a fiery mane on its neck.
When the man saw the beast, he heaved a sigh of relief and was about to faint.
"Re… Retreat!" he commanded before his consciousness could fade away.
Meanwhile, Hyuna who is standing atop the body of the snake frowned when she saw this using the rune sense on the blades.
She could only grit her teeth as she did not expect that the guy could still escape.
Right now, she is also at the limits of her mental stress and is about to pass out. She then willed her daggers to return.
She began panting after severing the rune sense and rested both of her hands on her knees as she bend over while trying to catch her breath.
"I did not expect that this rune technique would be this hard to control…" she muttered.
Her eyes landed on the huge body of the snake she is standing on and the hole not too far from her.
Actually, she had seen that there was a dagger on this part of the snake. It was a bit inconspicuous but she knew from the books and judging from her hearing of the strong beating heart of the snake that the place where the dagger is, is near the heart of the beast.
That is why she uses all her might to stump that dagger making it enter deeper and pierce its heart.
As she heaved a sigh of relief, she suddenly felt a bit groggy for some reason.
Then the large body of the snake twitches which made her tumble to the ground.
She winces as she felt her forearm a bit painful.
She suddenly noticed that for some reason, there is a green liquid on her arm.
"What… was… was I poisoned?" she muttered as fear crept on her face.
She did not hesitate to activate her transformation rune and her body transformed into that of a boy.
The transformation seems to have slowed down her symptoms.
But she knew that she is still in danger.
The daggers have already returned but fell to the ground as her concentration lapsed due to her condition.
Taking out the bag, she grabs some random antidote which she did not know if there is an effect.
But she was not able to apply it as her consciousness already faded.
The last thing she saw is the weak figure of Il Kwan walking towards her.
