"Why are you not going in with them? And I noticed you didn't say a word to him," Hunter said to Delilah who was still standing beside him after Jessica followed their father to Damon's office.

Delilah turned to Hunter, "It feels awkward. I don't know how Jessica does it. But I'm not sure how to treat him and act like nothing had happened. I'm still too mad at him for marrying her to care about his reasons or excuses."

"It's okay to be mad. You're mad because you still care. So, go stay with your Dad and listen to whatever he has to say. Show me you're a big girl," Hunter said, and Delilah scowled at him.

"Go on," he said, kissing her cheek, and she sighed as she walked away to go join Jessica and her father in Damon's office.

As Delilah walked into the office, she couldn't help wondering what was going on between her father and Claudia and why he had refused to go home with her.
