บท 65: 63. Confession-3
D looked at shounak, to see his expression but he was expressionless as if he was just listening to story . Shounak noticed her looking at him, so , he nodded indicating he was listening .
D continued ," I went in. I didn't know , for how many days I was there , I fainted at some point . When I woke up I was in hospital, with grandma by my side. Grandma used to visit the old orphanage every week , she believed she can bring all of us back , so kept that building clean ,that's how she discovered me. J didn't tell even grandma about this. But from that point onwards, I wasn't able to touch any male . I would have panic attacks and I would collapse everytime. I couldn't even touch my little brother . But as time passed , I took therapy , I thought I was cured . And I still don't touch any men unnecessarily and when I do I'm always on my guard. But just now , I think I lowered my guard unknowingly, that's why the bigger reaction ."
He was silent, he was absorbing everything. He felt suffocated at the thought of her suffering so much. He wished he met her sooner . He should have been there, for her. Although she didn't say , he can imagine , how scared she would have been. She has suffered so much, he swore he won't let her suffer now . Not even tiny bit.
His arms tightened around her," Its OK now, it's all over. You have me now . "
D also tightened her arms around him. At that moment , they both realized, "Our Maggie. "
They both turned towards the boiler , due to its auto on-off mechanism, it wasn't burnt , but it was already cold .D looked at him and Said, "let's eat . It's OK I can't let it go to waste , as it is the first dish you prepared for me ."
Then they both ate happily , the cold Maggie, made by our beloved big boss.
