บท 53: Underestimated the Double-Edged Sword

A few hours earlier, Steve sat in his small basement looking at a relatively large screen that had all the pictures he had captured on. The room was a dump and slightly dark place as there were no windows. The light source was from a standing lamp at one corner and the screen of the computer he currently had on. He had his hands crossed under his chin as he pondered on what to do.

His dilemma stemmed from the fact that he was for the first time in his career, torn between his integrity and what he was paid to do. It had always been an easy decision for him to do 'what was right' without any fear of repercussions and that was how he had gained a firm footing in the industry.

"I should have listened to that small voice in my head and not taken the money," he chastised himself and heaved a sigh.
