Yvonne turned to her daughter and asked, "Is that what you want, Ella?"

She inquired of this because she knew how controlling her ex-husband could be, but when it came to a girl's wedding, any girl would want to be involved, because most dream about this day their entire life. Also, since she, Yvonne was one of the most sought-after designers in Beo City, it only made sense for her to design the dress for her daughter's big day but alas, it looked like Mitch was out to get her this time yet again.

Because Mitch interrupted and said, "She has no say in this. Ella knows that daddy always has her best interest at heart… right?"

When she heard her daughter sigh, Yvonne nearly cried because she knew that there was nothing she could do. This was the agreement they had come to after the divorce, so she just looked on as Ella nodded.
