Dumbledore expected a weak Harry who lived with the Dursleys. He was not expecting a Harry who grew up on the streets and has no interest in playing a hero. After being abandoned in America by the Dursley's Harry learned to survive using his brains and magic.

A really interesting take on the Potterverse. This story doesn't have a canon character as a love interest, but an OC who happens so be the heiress to the most wealthy family in the wizarding world(or at least the UK) This harry knows card tricks, like a magician. It mainly consists of sleight of hand, and misdirection, as well as some other magician tricks that I don't know the inner workings of. Though he does have a trick that involves using Magic with his cards for wandless magic, kinda like gambit, i.e. (controlled) exploding cards. This Harry has a mouth, though its mostly entertaining, and contains alot of comedic value. This story isn't the authors main focus so don't expect regular updates, though short on chapters (currently 20 Chapter), it's definitely a worthwhile read ;) I hope this review is (somewhat) helpful, and if its not... funniest fanfic or book I've probably ever read, I also like it is still somewhat canon, the way harry is portrayed with all his pranks is hilarious

Story is called Trick Shot and written by JustBored21 on fanfiction.net Great story, inconsistent updates. Not sure why the re-poster posted this story with the name homesless, considering it's not the original title or a real word, but that's not up to me.
🌹💎 This is one of the best written and funniest fan fictions I have seen. I really hope it never gets dropped.
