บท 58: Probably it's not what it looks like.
Hwang Hwa Young was a multi talented celebrities in Korea entertainment, she appears in drama, commercial advertisement, Movies, tv shows, she even appeared in the latest trend tv reality shows that produce an Idol group. Although her debut was low key, her beauty and gentle personality has been always highlighted in televisions. She who always portrayed as innocent beauty and has always been targeted by media and paparazzi to be included in scandals. With her Fame, fabricated scandals keep coming in, and in just a few years her popularity started to plunged, for a media personality such situations was akin to a death sentence.
Despite the situations stack against her, the innocent beauty never stray from her path. She always strive to be truthful, wanted to be recognize by her talent not by ridiculous scandals. Little that she knows, all the scandals were actually made by her own agencies, producing a scandals in return of payments was kind of one of the well covered business opportunity, it's happened all the time. As for Hwang Hwa Young case, she was actually pushed to be in that state, by her fanatic fan that happen to be a heir of conglomerate family who's been wanting to 'own' her, the man pays her agencies million of dollars to push her into brinks of collapse, it's started 2 years ago, by then her agencies, her idol group, her friend all saying and pushing the same thing, 'Just date the guy, he probably can help you'.
At first she tries to give the man a chance, but as soon as she did the man not only try to rape her, but as he failed, the man starts to terrorize her by thrashing her place and even hurt her as soon as he come close contact to her, even the manager who always been saving her, was forced to quits and later commit suicide (Obviously killed by the man).
Today after months of empty schedule, she finally gets an offer for a drama casting. Since she already broke the contract with her agencies, becoming a free agent, put her in tight financial situations. Finally after she can see the way to pay her overdue rent, ecstatic she went for the meeting, but as soon as she entered the room what she saw the crazy man sitting beside the casting director, happily chatting with each others.
"Hwa young-ssi..nice to see you again..have a seat..this is Jang Ye Jum-nim..you know the Jang Group?..thanks to him, we got enormous sponsorship..he even personally recommend you for the leading role..". (Casting Director Gwang)
Casting Director Gwang was a good man,He and Hwang Hwa Young know each other from the previous work, he obviously don't know what actually happened between the 2. He also one of the people that Hwang Hwa Young trust to be unbiased against her.
"It's Nice meeting you again Director Gwang…I'm sorry but I think I can't expect the offer…then, I will take my leave…". (Hwang Hwa Young)
Still standing at the door, Hwa young not even consider to sit down, instead her face become distorted as she glance at the man. Director Gwang being a quick witted he is, knew there's something wrong. Everyone in the industry knew Hwa young has been chased by someone powerful, which is why people have a hard time casting her. Looking at her, he knows that the gentleman beside him was the frantic stalker.
"Oh..ah…it's okay, Hwa young -ssi….<CRASHH!!>…". (Director Gwang)
Before he even finished, a glass was thrown directly at Hwa Young feet, shocking both Director Gwang and Hwa young.
"Don't you think..it's rude to left just like that?..". (Jang Ye Jum)
His gentlemen demeanor broke in instant, the look in his eyes change, frantic, obsessions and straight up crazy, is the correct phrase to describe the man.
"if it is..I sincerely apologize..but I refuse to sit down with someone like you..Jang Ye Jum-nim….AACKKK!!..".(Hwang Hwa Young)
Shaken as she is, Hwa young stood her ground, but all of a sudden her body jerked forward as 2 large man grab her by force and throw her inside the room before closing the door.
"Jang Ye Jum-nim!..what do you think you were doing ?!..I will call the police now!..AAKKK!!….Hwa young-ssi RUN!!..". (Director Gwang)
After catching Hwa young and helping her up to sit down, Director Gwang tried to pull out his phone, but the 2 man outside suddenly rush in and tackle him to the floor, with the door opened and 2 men grappling him, he shouts at Hwa young to run and save herself. Which Hwa young did, she broke into a sprint, but her ankle become weak, as she look down it was bleeding a piece of broken glass dug deep into her ankle, probably happened when she was thrown into the room. Fear for her dear life, Hwa young run, but due to panic she instead ran towards upstairs, instead of downstairs towards the exits.
After climbing 2 floors Hwa Young legs gave up. Slowly she crawls in the dimly light hallway. What she fears finally caught up to her, Jang Ye Jum slowly walk towards her. Instead of help or pity, the first thing that reach her was a full swing back hand to her cheeks.
"YOU BITCH!!!..FUCKING SLUT!!!…YOU THINK YOU CAN RUN!!!..huff..huff…". (Jang Ye Jum)
Each insult coming out from his mouth followed by fist and kick to the helpless woman. Like beating an animal he grab her hair and slam her to a mirror.
"Didn't I tell you that all you have to do is come to my side…..look at you now~…..I'm sorry baby, does it hurt?..".(Jang Ye Jum)
With an iron grip on Hwa young neck, he trace his finger on the reddened face of Hwa young. Admiring her beauty, he lick her neck, even grabbing her buttocks forcefully.
Hwa young felt that what she experience right now is akin to killing her dignity, Helpless, she regrets everything, dreaming of becoming a celebrities, being pretty, she wishes that someone will help her. But deep down she knows no one could help her, she was an orphan, the manager she trust is dead, in her head she already made up her mind, she rather bite her own tongue to death than give this man a pleasure of enjoying her body.
