บท 13: Clown Beat Down
When the pillar of light cleared half of the cliff face was now gone along with half of the pirates, Nami sighed as she looked over the damage she had caused. " Hiko wasn't kidding about the improved part. " Nami looked to the perfectly intact circus tent and thought about all the gold and treasure Buggy must have, smiling Nami sheathed her staff and rubbered her hands in anticipation.
-Time Skip-
Nami wiped the sweat from her forehead as she looked at the several sacks bulging with treasure, " I have to thank Buggy when I see him for making me so rich, I wonder what's taking Hiko so long. " Just as Nami turned back around the ground exploded in a dust cloud before revealing Hiko holding a beaten clown under one arm, " Did I hear someone call my name, wow you did a number on the place. "
Nami rolled her eyes as she turned back to her loot, " While you were out having fun I was here working myself to the bone. I had to use his cannon to get rid of the last two. Now let's go back to the ship I want to be done with this place. " Shrugging Hiko stored each of the bags in his inventory before they started to walk back to the ship, Hiko let his mind wander remembering the fight he had with the clown.
-FlashBack-
After throwing the clowns hand back at him, Hiko had used his speed to take the clown by surprise using his tail to send the clown tumbling through the air off the cliff. Looking over his shoulder Hiko saw Nami easily taking care of the minions, smiling Hiko pushed off the ground flying towards a reforming Buggy who had escaped the fall mostly unscathed.
Landing on the ground Hiko let some of his bloodlust out making the clown turn white, " What's the matter didn't you say I was going to die flashy death. " Gritting his teeth Buggy pulled out his knives, " Don't get cocky, chop-chop barrage. " Both Buggy's hands disconnected as they flew towards Hiko, ' They never learn, do they. '
With a burst of speed Hiko dodged the two hands by turning his body sideways in midair, Buggy grinned as the knife concealed in his boots came out. With all the force he could muster Buggy kicked straight up just as Hiko was a few feet away from him, Buggy expected to feel his knife passing through flesh but when his foot met no resistance.
His eyes went wide as he saw Hiko's figure blur as his foot moved straight through him. Unphased Hiko stopped vibrating as he twisted his body striking Buggy across his body with his tail, Buggy left his chest go numb as blood bubbled up from his lips. Looking down Buggy saw that his chest had been decimated his flesh hung off his body in threads and in some placed he could see bone. Buggy looked up just in time to see Hiko's figure blur before he felt something hit his neck as his world turned dark.
Hiko looked down at Buggy's unconscious form, ' I may have overdone it a little, I guess I have to heal him If he dies it's thirty percent off the bounty. ' Turning over Buggy's body with his foot Hiko's hands started to glow as he healed Buggy's wounds, it was difficult as the scent of blood tempted Hiko to take a bit of the clown. Looking around Hiko made sure no one was nearby before he raised his hand to his mouth as he licked off the blood that had gotten on his hand.
Hiko felt a strength pervade through his body, letting out a sigh Hiko entered a state of euphoria, ' I could get used to this it wasn't the best tasting but the strength that comes with it isn't bad, I wonder how Nami's world taste. ' Hiko was brought out of his blood high as a notification appeared.

Curiosity getting the best of him Hiko pressed yes, and he watched a rend liquid come out of Buggy's skin before gathering together and forming a purple pineapple. ' So this is Bara Bara no Mi, I don't think I should eat it it might be useful later. ' Putting the fruit in his inventory Hiko check over Buggy one more time to make sure he wouldn't die before he tied the pirate up with some rope.

Grinning at his fortune Hiko shifted Buggy to his shoulder as they reach the shore and swam to the ship. The pirate was still unconscious when Hiko left him in the built-in cell in the hold of the ship, he also unloaded all the gold he had gotten from Buggy, and when he was finished Hiko realized that they were quickly running out of room ' We need a bigger ship I don't want to go to the grand line in this thing maybe the store will have something. '
Putting that thought aside for later Hiko went onto the deck as he found Nami leaning against the railing, coming up next to her Hiko grinned, " You did well for your first fight and nice use of the cannon. "
Turning up her nose Nami smiled, " What else would you expect, those fools can't hold a candle next to me. " Hiko's eyes roamed up and down Nami's body as he murmured, " No they can not. " Nami blushed and Hiko got another notification about Nami's affection going up, " S-so what do we do now we have to get this clown to the Marines the closest is Shelltown.
" Tapping his chin Hiko shook his head, " We might as well head towards Lougetown its a month-long trip that would give you time to train before we reach Arlong. " Nami's expression turned dark as she remembered that she would have to confront the man that haunted her childhood.
Seeing her dark expression Hiko used his healing hands as he smoothed Nami's hair, Nami sighed at the familiar feeling " You don't have to worry about him, I promised you I would help you become strong enough to kill Arlong. " Nami smiled as she leaned against Hiko enjoying the feeling safety Hiko's hands gave her.

Black_Paladyn Let me know if you like the blood drinker perk, I feel like the MC eating people is a little to far so he'll just drink their blood. As for nonhumans, he will be eating them.
