"Lady Odalis." Alastair knocked at the door and waited for the woman to respond, while Kenneth stood behind him obediently. 

The men each were lost in their thoughts. While Alastair's mind was filled with Saorsa's caution and fearful words, Kenneth, in the meanwhile was skeptical about the lady they were about to meet and her involvement in the matter related to his friend and king. 

'What if the lady is involved with Duke Zale and is trying to harm Alastair secretly?' He wondered and pursed his lips as he glanced at his friend from the corner of his eye. 'Is Lady Odalis as innocent as we think her to be or is she playing with us?'

Kenneth did not have the time to ponder over it for the door opened and he met the woman he was suspicious about right in front of him.

Lady Odalis was surprised to see the two men outside her room this early in the morning. There was still some time for breakfast.
