บท 155: Searching the old shaman

Jake Laushen finally stood before Sullivan and Crown Prince Daedric. Crown Prince Daedric sat on the chief throne while Prince Sullivan was seated respectfully at a lower position, his gaze steady and composed.

With slow steps, Jake moved forward and knelt on the cold marble floor, his head bowed low in deference.

"Your Royal Highness, Crown Prince Daedric, and Your Highness, Prince Sullivan," he began, his voice carrying a hint of desperation beneath its calm veneer. "I humbly offer my greetings and present myself before you. I have come to surrender the territories I wrongfully claimed from the Ryuxan Kingdom and to accept the terms the King has laid out for me. I plead for your mercy—please release my son."

Sullivan chuckled darkly, the sound resonating in the grand hall like a warning bell. His sharp gaze bore into Jake, who remained kneeling.
